Certainly deserves a thread of its own. This woman is amazing, is there anything she has not or cannot do. Leonardo Da Vinci had nothing on her. I am sure this will be the longest thread ever on TBV, so many achievmentsClap

I have a new pet. A very tiny fly who sits on my laptop rim and just stares at me. I call him Fly. He might be an omen. My AFL team, Collingwood, is coached by a man whose nickname is 'Fly'. Perhaps 'Fly' is going to gee me up, the way the coach does with the boys. Who knows? Strange things happen in this crazy world. *** We had curried prawns for dinner, last night. They were scrummy. I make a great very mild cream curry. Today, it's lightly spiced prawns and salad. I made one with feta and croutons. Steph made one with tofu and seaweed. Hers looked very professional. Mine looked rather amateur...but it still tasted good.

I am so pissed off. Ever since two certain clowns took control over 7mate's NFL coverage, two years back, all we ever get to see are the Cleveland Browns. Last year, I was lucky to see Green Bay more than about four times on free-to-air tv, and was forced to follow them with the play-tracker the rest of the season. I did manage to sneak to a hotel, twice, to see ESPN's coverage, but covid restrictions make that impossible this year. Bad enough that 7mate reduced weekly games from three to two. We also got masses of San Francisco and Kansas games. Too many. This opening week of the season, of the four games in the 6.25am timeslot on Monday, the Saints/ Packers game looked to be the best, even if Hurricane Ida forced its transfer from New Orleans. But we get delegated the Browns/ Chiefs game. While I don't mind watching Kansas, the Browns are a trifle boring. Truthfully, how many fans do the Browns have in Australia? About 10. Whereas, when Green Bay are shown at the Star sports bar there are masses of cheeseheads in attendance. So, how about we play fair, this year, and give the fans what they want. Yes, I know I can pay for an NFL game pass, but even that doesn't guarantee anything except a loss of finance. Rant over.

I look forward to JJ telling us how she would have batted 3 for Australia if she were male, she was that good, oh and she would also have been Kangaroo's halfback but for the same reasons, she also once ran the 100m faster than even Bolt's best time but the person forgot to stop the stop-watch, she could also have been the only person to win Wimbledon's mens single twice in the same year without dropping a set were she male and would have won the British Open were she not busy that year.
