No one hear follows the F1 ?
I thought you lot bet on anything that moves ? Were off to Brazil this week, Verstappen and RED BULL will be yet again hard to beat, won't be like last year where Hamilton had him covered. Q3 tomorrow Verstappen: Sky Sports F1 boycott is now overMax Verstappen has said that his boycott of Sky Sport's Formula 1 coverage is now over.![]() Listen to this article The Dutchman, and his entire Red Bull team, did not take part in any Sky media commitments over the Mexican Grand Prix weekend as the result of what it claimed was "disrespectful" reporting. As well as this involving Sky’s F1 channel, it included the company’s regional channels in the UK, Germany and Italy. Red Bull’s actions were believed to have been triggered by comments made by Sky’s pitlane reporter Ted Kravitz, who had suggested after the United States Grand Prix that Lewis Hamilton had been "robbed" of the 2021 crown. Top Videos< ="about:blank" border="0" scrolling="no" style="display: block; border-width: 0px; border-style: initial; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; width: 568px; height: 0px; : ; top: 0px; left: 0px;"> Speaking about the matter in Mexico, Verstappen had said: "This year it's been a constant… yeah, kind of like daily being disrespectful, especially one particular person. And it's enough, I don't accept it. "You can't live in the past. You just have to move on. Social media is a very toxic place, and if you are constantly being like that live on TV, you make it only worse instead of trying to make it better. "You keep disrespecting me, and at one point, I'm not tolerating it anymore. That's why I decided to stop answering them." But with Red Bull having made it clear that the boycott was about making a one-off stance, rather than being a long-term act, things have now returned to normal between the team and Sky. ![]() Christian Horner, Team Principal, Red Bull Racing, talks to Ted Kravitz, Sky TV Photo by: Mark Sutton / Motorsport Images Verstappen duly took a question from Sky F1 commentator David Croft in the Thursday drivers’ press conference in Brazil. Speaking later about the situation with Sky, Verstappen said: "Yeah, we drew a line under it. So we just keep on going." Red Bull team boss Christian Horner had said after the Mexican GP that his squad was upset about any suggestion Verstappen’s maiden drivers’ crown in 2021 was tainted. "I think an accusation of championships being robbed is something that we don't feel is an impartial commentary," said Horner. "That is, we don't feel, in any way fair or balanced. "Max was very upset about it, and as a team, we support him fully. We were equally upset about it. As a team, we took the decision this weekend, I took the decision that we'll have a weekend off." |

WOW Keven Magnussen is on pole position for the Brazilian grand prix, how the hell did that even happen? check those celebrations out at the end, his first pole ever in what 17 years of racing, no wonder he went bonkers, if he can hold on for a podium tomorrow they will blow the roof off the stands, well done K Mag.

That's what afternoon naps are for, so you can stay up late or better still set your alarm. These races in these timezones, I will often watch live, but Kayo is great cause you can just watch it as though it's live when you wake up, as long as you don't watch the morning news or log onto socials and know the result.

Monday is my last day of Kayo - only got a month to watch World Series - so I might go out with a bang.

Do it, the sprint race should be awesome, weather is iffy, that always makes it interesting too.

Whoa I did not expect Russel to beat Verstappen they way he did in the sprint race, he beached his car in qualifying, that's not usually what you want to see before a race.? Not that being beaten means anything now to Verstappen as he had the title sewn up, but the pace of the Mercedes over the Red Bull was eye opening. It's taken them all season but it looks like Mercedes has finally sorted their cars out and can now compete with Red Bull. Shame Magnussen couldn't hold on for any type of podium after securing pole, but it shows you the pace gap between cars when the rest simply breeze past him within 8 laps.

Huge weekend for the Brits, George Russel UK wins the sprint and the main race, his first F1 victory lewis Hamilton UK 2nd, Verstappen tried to take Hamilton out, of course he did, and went on to finish 7th I think, great race to watch, loads of drama, very entertaining, Daniel Ricciardo AUS is dead in F1, he has been utterly awful since he left Red Bull. He has been on a terrible downward spiral, one season to the next, one bad decision after another, and again causes a crash, taking out Keven Magnussen in this race and has another DNF to his record. Yes he won the Italian Grand prix last year but that was only because the others had crashed and taken each other out of the race.
Next season is going to be insanely interesting, Mercedes have finally sorted out the porpoising in their cars and now have competitive cars that will challenge Red Bull hard to the title. Verstappen is going to have to be on his absolute steely best next year imo.

Stupid ''sport''. 12 times F1 champion Lewis Hamilton who has won over 100 races and averaged 10-12 wins a season in recent years gets 0 wins this year due to ''technical changes'' to rules.

They weren't technical changes they were new cars, every 5 years or so the F1 change the cars and this time in 2022 they were really radically different. All teams get the same amount of time to test their cars at Barcelona and make the appropriate changes and advancements to their cars. Everyone was glad the new cars were brought in, the engineers designed the new cars so drivers could race closer and the racing in general would be tighter and more entertaining, drivers could follow much closer and not be ruining their tyres due to dirty air, they were spot on. 2022 has been the most exciting year yet. Everyone was sick to death of Hamilton winning due to Mercedes having the biggest budget and being able to do more with their cars. It was killing F1 so something radical had to change and the new cars were it, everyone who watches the sport agrees the new cars are amazing. They are now 6 cylinder hybrid engines with new fuels every year that are becoming greener and greener.

I mean these new cars look nothing like the old cars, they are really advanced machines, the aerodynamics are just insane on them.

Verstappen is a far superior driver to Ricciardo, Verstappen would pull away from him easily in the exact same car. The new cars are all about changing and tinkering with the aerodynamics ( side pods ) teams can make changes all year as long as they are within the rules of the FIA. Hamilton is a great driver but Mercedes failed to make the necessary adjustments in the new cars before the season started, Red Bull had it sorted, and it has taken Mercedes all season to finally sort out as you saw yesterday with Hamilton 2nd to Team mate Russell.

you can see the dramatic difference in those two Mercedes cars above, top is the new 2022 car and below the 2021 version. Look at the tyre sizes and side pods, the wheel arches etc.. all aerodynamics that greatly affect cars performance.

Watch Verstappen trying to hold off Russel in the sprint race. |

So we return to Abu Dhabi, the last race of the F1 season.
Back to the scene of the most watched sporting event ever, the final race of the 2021 F1 season, when Max Verstappen literally stole the world championship title from Lewis Hamilton on the last lap, literally 4 corners from home Verstappen on fresher, faster, softer, tyres mugged Hamilton, who was still on heavily used mediums, how could this happen,...the world went mad, you could hear the screams from house to house around the world when Max overtook Lewis, and then Lewis almost regained the lead by overtaking Max again,.. wow what a commotion, the world went crazy as Max does the unthinkable stealing the title on the last few turns of the last lap, all due to a safety car that brought the field back together for one final lap after safety ended. I will never forget that finish that night, it was something it really was. We return to the scene this weekend and RED BULL are looking fast this week. I get the feeling that Lewis wants revenge and is sandbagging in his 3 practice sessions so far. I really do think Lewis can win this race if he lands on pole, his team mate Russel will want to spoil that party but will team orders prevail. Verstappen and team mate Perez will be out to do anything they can to stop team Mercedes, Max dominating and winning is a point that Max so vehemently wants to make, after last years outcry of he didn't deserve it. Sergio Perez also needs to finish in front of Leclerc ( Ferrari ) to come 2nd in this years drivers championship title, so there is lots to play for. Sebastion Vettels ( 4 world titles ) last race ever, Daniel Ricciardo's final race for McLaren, lots to look forward to. Qualifying next, should be exciting.

Well unless Hamilton finds a few tenths of second on RED BULL then he is no hope of winning this race, his voice on car radio when told he was 3 tenths down on Perez in qualifying was telling RED BULL were like lightning, looking like they had a big point to prove, Max & Sergio on the front row means a RED BULL lock out, barring some insane crashes or safety cars they should just win this meaning RED BULL comes first and second in the drivers championship and win the constructors as well. Suck sht Mercedes.

Should be a belter, there has been simmering tension in all the teams this week and there's going to be some fire and words said, heated coming togethers without a doubt..it will be like Thoroughbred village forums circa 2016..

I think anyone who has watched F1 for any length of time would love it if Sebastian Vettel could get on the podium for his last ever F1 race. It would be a fairytale finish to his wonderful career, 4 world titles, numerous poles and podiums, a genuinely funny and nice bloke. Best of luck to him, he's qualified P7.
Aussie Daniel Ricciardo who also finishes with McLaren this race and it is unknown what he will do next year will need to drive like he's never driven before to find a podium here. There will fireworks on the first few laps guaranteed, can the big names stay out of trouble ?
