8 European countries so far have closed their airspace to Russia. Germany have announced they are preparing to follow. All will follow Germany.

If Ukraine survive this Volodymyr Zelensky will be Person of the year. He comes across as quite impressive. Not sure what he was considered like prior to this conflict ?

I knew he was an actor but have just read that before becoming president he created and starred in a comedy TV show in which he played a guy who was unexpectedly elected president

Very tough cookie. Won the Presidency in a landslide as an anti corruption candidate in an election Putin thought he had rigged to return his candidate. Stood up to Trump blackmailing him with the country under threat of ongoing Russian war against Ukraine.

From what I've read it's still a clickbait headline. Lots of behind the scenes manoeuvring to go yet. A lot of money involved for a lot of countries if they cripple Russia. Putin would have planned for this. He's a pr*ck but he's not stupid. |
