Daughter is thinking along those lines PT.  She has an hour drive to work each day.  But she's worried she might be out of a job soon anyway.  Work is struggling with the cost of petrol also.  Then she's in bigger trouble with home repayments.

I sensibly stocked up before I went!

We’ve got a very, very close family on the dam side. We used to catch up at weddings and the odd funeral. Now it’s no weddings plenty of funerals.

After my cousin’s memorial today I was tempted to start a “dead pool” competition. Then thought better of it.

An older, retired family friend I caught up with has been helping out for a while with Riding For The Disabled in town every Wednesday. “I think they keep me around because no one else knows anything about horses”.

He told of multiple instances where non-verbal, disabled kids sat on a horse for the first time and started talking as soon as they were legged up.

A good man.
