I will indulge myself and start my own little thread. I do not particularly want to get involved in the political threads where questions get lost or before you know it they are 5 pages back and you have forgotten you even asked it. I will post questions here and also my horses to follow. By the way my computer is back up an running so I am back on a more permanent basis. |

I found it almost as cheap to just buy a new one as stuff about trying to send mine away for repairs ? My geek went and bought the gear, came and set it all up, and transferred all my "stuff " off the old one onto the new one. He included an old fashioned player so I can play the old discs of stored photos, and a gizmo to download photos from my phone to computer. Put security on it. Blocked adds and almost all spam. Cost me $1,000. Since the other one was at least 7, or more, years old, I thought it was a pretty good deal ??

He's a great bloke, hard not to love him. He's very loveable and funny. I actually would love to see him lift the europa league trophy this year, even though they will likely play my team in the final, I think it's really about time Spurs put some silverware in their cabinet for once. United can live on and will be okay with the loss, but Ange will gone if they lose and that's not good for anyone. Actually he might be gone even if they win, but at least he can say, hey I at least won Tottenham a trophy, what have others done. Carl.

Ahh some interesting cricket coming up over the next 6 months if you like the red ball game. India play England in England soon, and then England come to Australia for the ashes. Lets hope the England team provide some sort of resistance this time, show off some younger talent with fire in their bellies, last time was pretty embarrassing. When they play poorly it doesn't make for great viewing, particularly when its so one sided, no one wants to watch 2 day test matches do they ? it's just not good for the game truth be told. Carl. |

Yes this I can understand. When banned there is no alternative if you want to participate. But we have multiple people over time here who disappear (often with a face full of tears) only to reappear soon after under a new name then proceed to be identified in about 5 seconds flat. What is the purpose other than to give the rest of us something to laugh at? I mean, it’s totally allowed so go for your life but it’s also totally hilarious.

I think you may need to re-read my thoughts on the matter. I couldn’t care less if you want to post as Carl Sagan or fiddlesticks or any other name you come up with. That doesn’t change the fact that it is bizarre behaviour when there was absolutely no reason for you to stop posting under your original name.
