Finally arrived near Midnight last night, and what a night to come along, thunder lightning, Races cancelled

Lanky little girl, bright and beautiful.
The vid of her dam foaling reminds me of our mare. She was finally showing signs. We brought her into the stable and took turns checking throughout the night. Luckily it was hubby’s turn when he found her giving birth and struggling with a big foal. She was nearly a ftn past her ‘due date’. He quickly assisted and successfully pulled the foal out. Good thing he’s a dairy farmer and knew just what to do

I'm so glad i opted for the methodology i use in matings and picking out Horses.
Elvis was the prototype for the whole exercise, then Cosmic Enigma,(and his 1/2 bro simmering in his spellin paddock, maybe debuting in the Autumn), plus the other Al Maher colt we have, and now such a crackin filly as this one, taken me an absolute lifetime but looks like it maybe worth it, sorry to be carryin on a bit but stoked

Superstar mare Winx has given birth to her Snitzel colt in the early hours of Monday morning. Connections of the former champion race mare took to social media to confirm the news that both mum and foal were in good health following the late-season birth. “Both Winx and her new foal are doing well,” it was announced on the official Winx account on X. There were some nervous days leading up to the birth as connections almost lost Winx after a complicated pregnancy when her first foal in 2020 by I Am Invincible did not survive. The new Snitzel colt already has a Pierro half sister on the ground and although she is not yet named, she has already made world headlines when purchased back as a yearling by part-owner Debbie Kepitis for a record $10 million in Sydney in April. As the foaling came late in the season, it is unknown whether Winx will visit another stallion this spring or will miss a season |

Glad she survived another foaling apparently there were complications with Hungry Heart and she lost her life. Her second colt is doing well luckily. But bad luck can happen anytime.
