There was movement at the station
Or so Banjo says
BC , overbred?? ... I think not.
For example the dictionary tells us,
verb. over·breed ˌō-vər-ˈbrēd. overbred; overbreeding; overbreeds. transitive verb. : to breed
To overbreed to EXCESS
  1. Yet black caviar , had one foal , every year.  Question
The average mare in a paddock with a stallion, or , in the snowy mountains has the same.
The average gestation period is around 340 days , add foal heat (no twitch required) into the equation , and she’s a motivating example of how TO DO IT , without OVERDOING it. No August foals. No hidden foal Wink that was “born” on August 1st a 1 am LOL Just good , simple breeding practice.
Instead of Snowy Mountains forage , it was top shelf paddocks, feed and around the clock vet care!
Foals born 370 to 400 days apart! Foals born in prime time!?
    Naturally.
No lights. Yes , lights. You see, unlike the female of our species , you can’t ‘trick’ them into ovulating with something as simple as lighting Wink if The Man from Snowy River had a free service to the colt from old regret , for his efforts. I reckon he’d have covered BC with him. After all , you want a healthy foal, not something from an overbred mare.

I don't have one

This a very good "rebuttal" to all the nonsense in the MSM and social media

Weren’t the only years she didn’t foal down the same years she ‘missed’. So no actual time off given?
