Pretty sure Konigsstuhl will be important for that foal cross to Too Darn Hot.  And probably Forty Ninter also.  Hope the right genes make it through.

Hallo,
thedamline of the famed UHungarianbred "Kincsem" was imported to Germany during the 1920's,
the name of the broodmare was "Winnica" (by Kottingbrunn, the 5 genration offspring).

her descents had procuded during several Generations good winners, recently the Derby winners Windstoss (by Shirocco, 2017) and Weltstar (by Soldier Hollow, 2018, they are HB'S) Btw, their dam Wellenspiel shows a triple Linebreeding to "Winnica". Other winners during the last seasons are Well Known, Well Made etc. Not to forget the German Top Sire Monsun carries a strain of her, too. Just look behind Wauthi.

Another female descent of "Kincsem" is the British Sire "Camelot" (by Montjeu).

regards, Ticino

Hello, Take2,
many thanks for pointing out, "Kincsem" had a damline in OZ/NZ, too. It's quite surprising, where you familiar damlines in very distant Countries.

Btw, in "Prince Camelot", the 2 female descent BY Kincsem , say hello, to each other, via "Budagyönge" and "Ollyan Nincs" (FS by Buccaneer). Btw, Budagyönge won the "German Derby" in 1885.

regards, Ticino

Hello,
in the case you are intereste.

I think "Too Dan Hot" has his first winner in Germany.
The name of the filly, Emily, (Too Darn Hot - Emerita by Areion), admittingly at Handicap Level (Cat. D), 1400 meter, Dortmund, 1. Race, 15.09.24
The abovementioned "Distor", has meanwhile raced twice, with 1 Placing.

Recently was the annual "BBAG Yearlings Sale" in 2024, only one yearling was listed by Too Darn Hot o/o Guajara by Montjeu.

best regards, Ticino

Hello,
it's almost 2 years ago, since I listed the yearlings by abovementioned Sire at our Yearling Sales

The unnamed foal by "Too Darn Hot", see below
Lot 180 N.N. - Quaduna (Duke of Marmalade), is now racing with the name Querencia (owned by the Fährhof Stud). She is now a 3 year old (NH), with 4 starts, 1 win, 3 placings.

During the "Hamburg Racing Week" (Derby meeting).
She is entered at Race 6 (scheduled MET 2.00 MET), Auction Race, 1600 meter, Sunday, 06.07.25
