Election night - ALP romp into power with a majority

Week 1 - few weeks of mad celebrations & piddling in each others pockets

Week 3 - dark financial clouds on the horizon. All the "spend, spend" talks go MIA

Week 4 - Coalition "black holes" being discussed everywhere

Week 12 - Pandemic ramps up again. Sigh of relief - focus away from their lack of activity. Elbow cops his second dose'

Week 16 - Boats start lining up

Week 20 - The hand maidens cant agree on anything. Just a matter of time before Elbow throws in the towel

Week 52 - Inflation running at 10% - Interest rates just increased for the 6th time

Week 53 - Elbow calls it quits. Tanya given the job - she knocks it back. Penny steps up with Grace as her off-sider

Week 60 - Real wages have dropped a further 8% since Election. Even the Unions are getting out of sorts

Week 70 - Massive National Action Talkfest planned for Closing The Gap , Climate Change & a Pacific Solution. Aged Care Workers, Unemployed  & the Disabled ask why they weren't invited Confused

Week 100 - The country's officially declared a disaster zone. Overrun by the Chinese, the Pacific Islanders & boat people. Unemployment at 18% , interest rates hitting 1980 levels & the pox is everywhere. Elbow catches it for the third time & doesn't make it.

My vision stops at this point !

What an extraordinarily negative poster from our resident swinging voter!

Although he does hint somewhat, the he recognises what a dumpster fire Scomo is handing off.

No honey moon period.

Basically because of the way the COuntry will be handed over to Albo and his team.

Are the Liberal Party going to properly reform, kick out all the right wing nutters, accept climate change, dump their culture war BS?

This isn't America oneone, and while we are following them down a dark path, not enough here swallow the Kool-Aid. Ask Craig Kelly with his anti vax crap, who just sold his house and moved out of his electorate this week. Given up on being Prime Minister apparently.

"Culture war BS" - you are kidding surely. I'm assuming that includes "wokeness" - the ALP have made an art form out of it.

Woke means informed...not too shabby. Bit like Morrison calling Albo a loose unit. There are now T-shirts and other loose unit merchandise.

No, I mean the culture war, anti everything hate filled stick your nose into everyone's private business because it terrifies and threatens your sad little world culture war BS of the right.

In America they call it God, Guns and Gynecology.

Gotta agree it's hard to stomach hate-filled people who stick their noses into other people's private business because it terrifies and threatens their sad little world.

If she had any imagination she could at least borrow the "very brave to go so early" line. That could work...
