Arkady, he hasn't really fired even given his oldest are only 3yo's, and is on the nose at the sales, so I'd suggest he may quietly disappear.

Great pity as he is a beautiful animal and well bred to boot.  But only served 13 mares last year.

Only time I saw him in the flesh, I was up to my eyeballs in Chautauqua for the 2016 Lightning. If his knees were offset that day, then mine were at right angles when he walked into the yard.

Well he certainly is both big and tall, and that may be the problem.

Ok some will be quick to point out exceptions to the rule, but 16.3 stallions or taller stallions have a pretty ordinary records in Oz.

And sires the winner of the Lightning today.

Started his stud career at a fee of $27,500 in 2016 but that was down to $6,600 by 2023.  Unfortunately today's winner won't revitalize his stud career as he died just before the start of the 2024 breeding season.
