One section of Republican questioning I found interesting that hasn't been reported on much so far in the initial flood of analysis and commentary, the questioning, angry at times on the prosecutio/declination decisions and the Special Counsel regulations.

Can someone help me out on why anyone thought this hearing would have any point? He'd already made it clear that his report spoke for him, and literally 15 mins into it he'd made it clear that he couldn't and wouldn't comment beyond that. Why continue?

I guess the anti-trumpers were just hoping for some "sound bites" and "optics", as people say today. Appeals to emotion over facts/ law/ truth. Typically elitist, condescending attitude. They hoped the "movie would be better than the book." The "book" (particularly the bloated gossip column of part 2) was a bore, apart from the Russia stuff, but the "movie" was bloody awful. Mueller went from hero to zero because of his frayed nerves. Dare I say it reminded me of the televised Pell trial and the hopeless stammering, uninformed prosecutor. At time Mueller didn't even seem to know his own report. It would be interesting to see if the writing style is consistent throughout, bit by bit. It seemed very inconsistent to me when I read it - part sober legal analysis and part tabloid sensationalism.

Democrats are very busy passing lots of bills. They have a very large agenda, but Senate Majority leader McConnell refuses to look at anything at all. Over 100 bills sent to him he refuses to look at. 

All this process has done is cast a shadow over the integrity of the FBI, the Clintons (again) and the dummy spitting democrats

One had to feel sorry for the poor man. Mueller isn't on the planet.
