Okay - this thread is for posting your yearling picks for the 2019 Yearling Comp.
 
Rules are:
 
$1,000,000.00 to spend (we wish)
6 Yearlings
From any NZ Bloodstock, Inglis or MM sale until June 2019.

Thx for running again Dizzy. Your efforts are appreciated. In real life i have got a share in half a dozen horses atm all bought from sales between 30k and 80k. They keep me interested. 5yo is dual city winner. 4yo city placegetter. 4yo just starting after injury seems slow. 3yo unraced with mixed reports. Two unraced 2yo's going nicely, one especially so.

But there are always plenty that i like that are a bit too expensive at the sales, so this is a great comp to back your judgement(or non judgementSmile).Also interesting to see who others select. I'll be scouring the catologues again like i do every year since late 80's. But now with 1 Million to spend again lol.

Bensley and Haines were all agog because Singo bought a colt - "He NEVER buys colts!"  So they grabbed him at the end of the day and said asked what the story was.  Singo said, yeah, he didn't mean to buy this one either.  He was telling the people at his table that if they wanted to have a bid just so they could say they bid on a horse, but didn't want to actually buy the horse, all they had to do was bid early on one a Redoute's colt, because "they all go for a million".  Here, he says, I'll show you, and he chucks his hand up at $300k for a half-bro to Foxplay... and down comes the gavel.  He's just accidentally bought himself a colt!
