I was thinking how about we run a competition on yearling selection. The rules are $1mil total budget and x1 yearling from MM, MP, Karaka and Easter. For ease lets just call $NZ = $AUS for Karaka purchases.
Could be a bit of fun to track the yearlings and do a leader board by way of prizemoney

LOT 289 Denman x Come Sunday $220k I am probably crazy as the comp based on $$ and it will race in NZ. I just thought he was a cracker and a great attitude |

Check out the 2013 comp, ppl were great at selecting but don't seem too interesting in updating with their names or racing history, to date

Give me Lot 616 Lohnro x Nun Faster -$180k. Only fair since I bred it and have agreed to maintain a small interest. I think lot 489 (from memory) Encosta De Lago x Kapcher - $190k sold to Peter Moody was outstanding, I'm confident she will go super as well. That's almost certain as Inwas the under-bidder!!!!

I'll go the Jet Spur x Bay Trixie filly 100k I also loved the Rip Van Winkle colt that Gerald Ryan bought, want to save some dosh for some of the other sales though ;) |
