Couldn't find any threads on this boy.
Firstly, any opinions on him and has anyone seen his, now yearling, offspring? Secondly, any thoughts on a sire that basically had his career shortlived due to bone chips after a massive run in the Coolmore behind Home Affairs

Can't offer anything about his stock.
What's fairly clear is that he hasn't been exactly embraced by breeders, with less than 100 bookings in each of his first two seasons. That bearing in mind possibly 20-25% of them would have been Widden mares. Unless he's covered some top class mares his first few crops of yearlings won't make Easter, and not not too many at MM Book One or Premier. So you're talking Classic, MM Adelaide etc if selling. Advertised fee this season reduced to $9,900 and would be surprised if you couldn't get him for about $5,500-$6,600 tops. Fwiw.

ps: 40-odd Snitzel sons have been retired to stud thus far. Ok a couple of superior sons haven't yet been represented on the track, however he hasn't exactly set the world on fire as a sire of sires.
The best three of them were all Group 1 winners so certainly didn't lack quality mares, and it's interesting to view their advertised stud fees in 2025 compared with their highs after getting a few excellent earlier performers, eg: Shamus Award, Russian Revolution and Trapeze Artist are now standing for between 50% and 62.5% less than their earlier pump-push stud fee highs. |

We’ve got a couple of Bruckner yearlings on the farm. As SC says, probably Classic (hopefully Premier).
Nothing out of the ordinary but as SC knows, I’m no conformation expert.

Looking at Bruckner's pedigree we find he's very close to Jukebox who didn't set the world on fire as a sire. But then you see Snitzel, Lonhro, Rory's Jester, Umatilla (to Redoute's) and Godswalk who were all very good stallions even champs in one form or another.
I guess you need to really find out what he needs to shine to get that good foal. And that isn't always what the sale ring wants! Which is the bain of my life. For instance in the G1 winner from the third dam they found the Nijinsky male to the Nijinsky filly. All these crosses to Snitzel offer the Umatilla to Redoute's cross so you get Nijinsky f x f but Dancing Show f x m so it balances out. I actually love the pedigree and followed both Jukebox and Bruckner from the sales. But where you go to next is the question. Maybe check out what has gone well with Shamus Award who has been Snitzels best son. But likewise someone on here mentioned he didn't think Redoute's was a good sire of sons. Totally forgetting both Snizel (champ) and Stratum (died early but very good). Now it's wait and see if Alabama Express can go on with the job. I just think they can't all be Danehill or Northern Dancer (interestingly from the same family)!
