amazing shot, Giddey has done alright at the bulls. He was in a very hot OKC team last year and probably didn't get the minutes or opportunities

Don’t rate Reggie Miller’s 8pts in 9 seconds?

I don’t watch much NBA but have an interest in any Aussie who plays.

I knew Josh’s dad Warwick (Wazza 😀) who played for the Melbourne Tigers in the late 80’ and early 90’s. The era of Gaze Snr and Jnr, Copeland etc.

I remember flying to Perth with Mrs Freefall and a couple of friends in 1993 to watch the last 2 games of the NBL Grand Final. Dave Simmons got me some tickets.

We sat with Giddey’s relatives in an 8,000 sellout and watched the Tigers win it in a nailbiter.

One of the best sporting moments of my life!

Giddey again! 29 points, 15 rebounds, 12 assists.

The Bulls were 24 points down at one stage. Hit the front with 3.2 seconds left via a 3 pointer from a spectacular Giddey assist.

Furt, you are bringing in back some great memories.

Josh’s dad Warwick played for the Melbourne Tigers in the NBL back in the 90’s.

We flew to Perth to watch the Tigers play in the last two games of 1993. Dave Simmons is a mate of ours and arranged 6 tickets for us.

We sat in the stand at Perth Entertainment Centre and sat next to a sibling of Warwick.

Andrew Vlahhov put up a three pointer on the buzzer that rimmed out and the Tigers won. Only about 20 of 8,000 applauded.

Mrs Freefall still has, more than 30 years later, one of the cigars that Lanard Copeland gave everybody at Perth Airport when we saw them off back to Melbourne.

Andrew Gaze and Ray Gordon, both with the ring nets draped around their necks. All they wanted to do was look at the stats sheet.

Thanks!!
