Nothing wrong with cannelloni for breakfast...or chicken cacciatore...or stroganoff...

Shawarma was delicious, I ended up deep frying some thin french fries with it, so we had a giant plate of hot thin fries with flaky salt on, as a side with our Shawarma wraps. loads left over for dinner tonight. The plus of buying loads of Lebanese breads is you can use them for other things.

Like for breakfast I cracked & whisked up 3 eggs and seasoning in a plastic jug, heated up my "Made in" non stick skillet, drizzle some olive oil, tossed some very thin pieces of English ham in the pan to brown up, then when ready, pour the egg mixture into the pan, let it cook across the bottom as if I'm making an omelette, then folded the mixture carefully, making sure not to scramble it all up too much.

Take this cooked, folded eggs and ham, lay it in a warmed Lebanese bread, spread some Lurpak across bread first, put some lettuce and tomato, little pepper and wrap that bread up, tightly, scoff down with cup of coffee.

Yummo.

Sounds good...but branch out a little and next time use honey leg ham.

Is it a compulsion to use 'English' leg ham?

We have all manner of things for breakfast...but never cereal.

Some form of protein is usually the optimum choice.

A wrap is a very good option for breakfast, especially if you have leftover cooked chicken.

Plus a nice mug of black tea with one and a half tsp of sugar.

I don't like strong flavoured hams, prefer the light, mild ones, like champagne and English, the heavily smoked ham is awful imo..

My daughter loves clear hot teas, she switches between green tea, english breakfast and Liptons Black tea.

Only lately has she started drinking coffee. I make her a strong cappuccino, she likes it but prefers hot strong clear tea with 2 sugars.

Me I just drink water, or juices that are heavily watered down, or coffee, that's it. Once in a blue moon I will drink a Coke or Pepsi, mostly for the bubbles so I can burp.

If she prefers tea, why force coffee on her?

Not force, she asked for it, she says it helps her bowel move more regularly..she'll drink coffee for a week then this week she wanted tea. Tea isn't good for women, it has a lot of tanin in it, which prevents women's stomachs from absorbing iron.

Dont store it anywhere too warm, it does spoil quickly, especially in summer.

Worth the effort though..

Room temp in Brisbane or in Seoul?

If you want to go all the way I got Korean Chilli flakes online. They are totally different thing to normal chili flakes. Called GOCHUGURU.

Fine to use Gochujang. Itis just a little stronger flavor.

I had to get Gochugaru from Korea and didn;t think the difference was significant.

I don't normally like anything pickled, but I am ploughing my way through a jar of pickled red cabbage, it's a German brand I found in the international section of Woolies. Man it is so moorish, keep in fridge and when I crave it, I just stand there eating it out of the jar.
