Freefall you would be better off tossing the semi cooked pasta ( el dente`)  into the same pan as the anchovies, garlic, chilli etc ..then using left over pasta water & a knob or two of cold butter, mix in pasta water spoon by spoon to create an emulsion by mixing and mixing with a wooden spoon or chopsticks, and blend all those flavours through the dish properly.
