We need the izzy drawing power..   Rugby struggles here.

V'Landy is claiming he has billions coming at him for the right to use his product.    Hard to believe but wait and see.

Maybe Vlandys could send some Sonny Bill's way to stop him from trying to get killed fighting Iron Mike.

Rooster's jumper has always suited him.

New to me ..   Mike would be getting to 55 .     & Sonny Bill is as slow as they come .   Tyson wins for sure , even if 85.

I note Tszu wouldn't fight Horn at an empty Stadium at a time to capture the USA pay TV audience.     That says something. Big class rise for him.

Please excuse the cut and paste maxie. Embarrassed

According to multiple reports, promoter Brian Amatruda is attempting to lure Tyson to Australia to fight either Gallen, dual international Sonny Bill Williams or ex-AFL star Barry Hall.

Is Australia the world capital of comedy boxing, where non-boxers of extremely limited boxing ability are the biggest fights?LOL Take the clown acts to the WWE or something like that.

cmon 1,1,

What happened last time Izzy was set up for a big fight?

Talked it up, conned millions from battlers, then settled, and ran away.

If you are suggesting a locked cage, wrestling style, where combatants can’t run away, your man won’t be interested in that...

Rusty your sounding bitter & twisted over this whole affair. For the sake of repetition - Izzy was the one who got sacked / had his livelihood taken away from him. All he did was defend his position. And successfully I might add.

Remember the classic Blocker Roach comment when Jones was coaching Balmain Tigers when he introduced ice baths for post match recovery. Al likes to suck on a coldie after the match.

Do Rah-Rahs use ice baths?

Ice baths would have frightened me .

Willy won't work in Summer so no chance in such conditions.

Hard to imagine , what is going on in a mind that would recommend Ice packs after a tough body contact sporting match.   No Logic.

Slows the inflammatory response from strains and injuries, like if you belt your thumb with a hammer, first thing to do, soak in icy water.

"England coach Eddie Jones says rugby has turned into a stop-start visual product similar to the NFL and is calling for at least two fundamental changes to speed up play."

https://www.smh.com.au/sport/rugby-union/almost-like-nfl-jones-wants-rugby-to-follow-nrl-and-speed-up-play-20200603-p54z1w.html

Except that in the NFL you have to sh1t or get off the pot - if you don't go 10 yards in 4 tackles you lose possession. In rugby union you can have 30 tackles and go nowhere.

Typical pig headed replies by Rusty & PT. Hard to admit you may have got the whole thing wrong i know. Wonder if Raelene would have done anything different if she had her time again ? Pretty sure Izzy wouldn't have !

PT can you please detail all the positives to come out of RA's decision to sack Izzy ? I mean that was their considered decision. Did it help their finances ? Did it help the teams cohesiveness ? Did it help senior RA management keep their jobs ? Did it help secure / find new sponsors ? Did it help in team performance ? Did it increase their supporter base ? Did it show their in-house processes were satisfactory ? Did they win the support of the general public ? Did they just put Izzy on a mantle at their own expense ?

It was a question not a statement. As the forum's Izzy whisperer, I thought you might know.
