Okay guys sorry about being a bit absent over Friday and yesterday but I had the beginnings of a cold and was severely effected by medication but alls well and ends well.
Okay to answer some questions that have been raised. 1. Scratchings. This was something that was not spoken about in the OP so I will refine this aspect of the fantasy league for the spring. 2. Substitutes. As happened with me yesterday at Rosehill with Hawkes they scratched three horses late and I was at a disadvantage. I will look into substitutes for the jockeys and trainers for the spring league. 3. Selection substitutes. Yesterday dizzy and furious had Soothing which was a late scratching. For the spring if I am thinking that we substitute the late scratchings with the SP favorite in said race, just like it was with the old doubles. 4. Selections more than two times in a row. This works similar to a double hattrick in cricket. So when you select, as furious did Alligator Blood twice, if you then select that horse again it is considered a twice in a row selection. Maybe there should be a extra prize for a hat trick and that will be looked at for the spring comp. 5. Group ones worth double. It has been suggested that the group one races should be worth more than the other black type races. This will also be looked at for the spring. |

Hope your feeling better Voyager. I'm half asleep today due to cockroach from hell keeping me awake last night. THought the rotten thing was a mouse until spotting it this mornings. Honestly this is the weirdest year. I know I was down but it seems no ones allowed to be happy or even normal at the moment. Next weekend will be the first time I've not been to the Slipper in 50 years (will 52 years) so I'm very sad about that. No yearling sales. Nothing to get me out of the house and out of my mind which is in a sad mess at the moment so thank heavens this is running to keep me at least trying to think and communicate.

The Hareeba is the second race at Mornington, not the Guineas. The Hareeba is the other black type race. |

The black type races tonight at MV are to be included as selections only. No trainers or jockey selections as that is reserved for Mornington tomorrow.

7 well your first got home. I had two in that race out of mares I'd picked from the sales. I picked one you picked the other and yep I went the wrong way. Thought it might be to short for him after his last few runs
