Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus, AC Milan, Inter Milan, Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham, Manchester United, Manchester City, Liverpool. I'm tipping it will collapse before it kicks off, to resistance already, talk of Chelsea pulling out after only days.

The idea has certainly gone down like a lead balloon. And rightly so really. It goes against the way football has operated since forever with every team theoretically having a chance of rising to the top. Hoping it falls over both because it’s a dreadful idea and that it will be hilarious to watch the implosion. Chelsea and Man City have already pulled out. Which club will be next?

When you sell your club to a billionaire it is not your club. You are just a consumer of an overpriced product. German football club supporters are the only ones who can say it is their club.

This
![]() Russia and Visegrad 4 Hungary runs Visegrad 4 and 12 nations have now signed to it, not 4. A new empire has started with Russia, (you may want to see the tanks rolling in), and soccer had no choice but to react. Oh, and some cop in America was kneeling on a black dude. You guys live in a bizarre utopia. Every single post i read on this site, none of you know what is going on. Do you even know where Russia is on a map? |

You are referring to Communist Russia. Putin has built thousands of Christian churches Look it up. Putin and Orban have incredible admiration for each other. And Visegrad 4, is actually Visegrad 12 now. Visegrad is the largest army in the world. All the Visegrad nations combined, and Russia signed with Orban last week, I can assure you, America is GONE Putin and Orban LOVED Trump You chose the wrong side of history. Biden chose Ukraine and they are, lets put it nicely, a walk in the park. Its all over Putin waited and waited, and waited Made his move. Russia chose Visegrad and the Kingdom of Hungary. China is with them too America is falling apart. Taiwan is gone Australia is a sitting duck. Trump wanted to make really good deals. You chose the wrong team ![]() |

From Perez interview
He claimed that the Premier League had planted the so-called Chelsea fans outside Stamford Bridge to protest against the decision, making them look like Blues when they were just actors. He said the people responsible were the same who had been giving other Spanish and English clubs T-shirts to wear in their pre-match warm-ups protesting the Super League. “Chelsea fans? They were 40 people outside Stamford Bridge... and if you want, I will tell you who took them there. “Who brought those Chelsea fans to protest? Someone moved them - just like here someone gave Cadiz jerseys (to wear against Super League).”

Now that the European Super League idea has been quickly killed off, talk in Britain has turned again to a British Super League, essentially to bring Rangers and Celtic into the fold.
Hopefully it goes ahead, but it will be interesting to see what model they pursue if they do, will they go for a British Premier League above the Scottish and English league systems with a promotion and relegation model below that? Alternatively they could simply invite Rangers and Celtic to join the English league system, but if they do that and at the same time reduce the number of clubs in the EPL to 18, many of the clubs at the bottom end of the EPL/top of the Championship would protest vigorously. I feel like an 18 team BPL would be the best model, slotting in above the existing league systems, with a split of say, 13 English, 5 Scottish clubs to start, relegation and promotion would be the interesting problem to sort out as for example if 3 English clubs finished in the bottom 3 than no Scottish clubs would come up, however maybe a unique rule could be brought in with say, the bottom two automatically are relegated and if they are both from the one nation than the next lowest from the other nation goes down instead of the 3rd bottom side.
