Give me a break, even the stupidest nong could tell you were trying to say that the premier league is full of black men and imports and there are hardly any white english men in the league, what a disgusting pitiful thing to say. You've been saying it for ages, you are always looking for a way to bash the english.

Whats the difference between black born and white born ?? your argument doesn't stand up at all.

A reality check for Fiddles:

What percentage of the Premier League players are English?  Two-thirds of Premier League players are now foreign.

Today, there are
371, more than double the original number, with foreign players accounting for just under 66% of all Premier League footballers. For the start of the 2021-22 EPL season, 36.4 per cent of squad players were English. In the 2020-21 and 2019-20 seasons, the percentages of English players were 46 and 42 per cent respectively.

What's the percentage of black players in the Premier League? 43%
43% of players in English Premier League (EPL) and 34% in the English Football League (EFL) were Black in 2021. Black players represent an even larger share of the total market value of players in these leagues.

Do these posts ring a bell?  Suggest you stop making a fool of yourself as you've done in all your recent posts here, denying as you have the dwindling number of English-born players in the EPL, the increased number of players of color, and the huge percentage of overseas-born players in the League.  And if there wasn't a cap on overseas player signings the already mimimal (34%) English representation in the EPL would be even further reduced.

"Almost needless to say the pivotal players were mostly of color, be they British-born or imported product.  Now that Kane's gone the depth of elite white bread Premier League players has dipped considerably."
"What am I saying? Simply that the English-born talent pool is dwindling as each season passes".

Horlicks if you were even half arsed serious about modding this joint, you would stop the trolling and baiting and incessant racism and homophobic slurs all over this place. All I did was share a video for others to enjoy and SC came along and made the snide remark about less white english players, he knew what he was doing, it was baiting, he has no love for the premier league, doesn't follow it etc.. and often just comes into the thread to poke fun. Do you see me baiting and trolling in the NRL and AFL threads that I have no interest in ?

Southgate's 'concern' at decline in English players in Premier League

WRITTEN BY TRAINING GROUND GURU — MARCH 17, 2023

GARETH SOUTHGATE says he is concerned that the number of England-qualified players in certain positions in the Premier League is “deteriorating rapidly.”

Two years ago, the England manage said he was heartened by the fact that about 40% of starters in the top flight were England-qualified. This was a big improvement on December 2018, when just 24.5% (54 of 220) of Premier League starters on matchday 14 were England-qualified - an all-time low.

However, Southgate says the figures are now slipping again.

“It has been around 32%, but that’s down from 35 when I took over [in 2016] and 38 in the years before," he said. "So the graph is clear - there’s no argument about that. The numbers are not going up, that’s clear. 28% has happened in a couple of weekends in the last few weeks.

“We are shorter than the other big nations on depth of selection. In certain positions those numbers are deteriorating rapidly in the Premier League.

The Premier League point out that the average number of England-qualified starters this season runs at about 32%Southgate went on to point out that there have been more Brazilian than English players in the Champions League this season.

"At the moment, we are a long way behind France and Spain on those numbers and it is really interesting that Brazil, who obviously have a really powerful domestic league, now have as many players playing Champions League - or more than we have. What’s the best way to judge our players? The Champions League.

The average Premier League player makes more per year than his counterpart in the other big 5 leagues, Germany, Italy, France and Spain, especially once you go further down the food chain below the clubs with Champions League aspirations in each league, so it is probably only natural that more foreign players end up in England than the other 4.

I guess it would be interesting to look at the number of players from each nation hosting a big 5 league who play in one of the other 4, I'd bet England has fewer than the others plying their trade in the 'other 4' of the big 5.
The world needs more Man United relegations

I've never seen someone so desperate to make some sort of point that no one cares about or asked for. Seriously if this 'person' was so obsessed it, why don't they complain to the league or better still go fly over there and watch the championship and lower leagues where there are plenty of local lads, start a recruitment business or apply for a scouting job, would give them something to do at least.

Am simply concerned about the relative dearth of local talent in the EPL.  And as a result England's future in world football.

As is England's manager who later in his assessment worried that, if the trend continued, in about four years time the nation might well struggle to field a competitive international team.

To me that seems important, not the least obsessive.

I'm not happy about the way the premier looks, but what can you do as a spectator, nothing, its all a huge big industry that has been corrupted by money. I quite often find myself watching lower leagues where money hasn't fully sucked the soul out of the game yet.
