They weren't invaded as such.
The biggest danger t0 Aboriginals is their own. We have one who claims to be Aboriginal who makes a buck from publishing the terrible things that happen to his people. He himself had his first (aboriginal) Wife left alone , made his Indigenous children )to battle life without a father. While he eloped with one of those terrible "White" Floozies , he found in his workplace. Losing his employment in the process. Then has the hide to make a career out of his delusion that "white man " is the problem to his people, as he keeps diluting their lines. and abandoning them. |

The BLM thing is, here at least, unnecessary, divisive mischief, trying to deepen whatever rifts exist. The biggest culprits, are those that lend a sympathetic ear to these fraudsters, for the purpose of getting a warm inner glow of moral superiority. Perish the thought there would be any of that ilk around here !

We shouldn’t think that the protestors , or the talking heads who appear on Q&A or write opinion pieces in the Guardian represent Aboriginal people. They don’t . The elders of Aboriginal communities in our regional towns are facing the exact same problems as their white neighbours. How to keep their youth engaged, in school , off the grog and drugs and out of prison in areas with little job opportunities and not much to do. Poverty and isolation are colour blind. The BLM movement is toxic because it is trying to fight racism with racism . White = bad in other words and it’s not only doomed to fail but doomed to make things worse. As I’ve said before make it Poor Lives Matter and we might get somewhere.

That's right Baguette, the divide of rich and poor is far more grievous than supposed racial divides. You can't eat, clothe, and house yourself with 'our culture", but you can if you have money, and a legal means of making it.

BLM is the biggest crock of Sh!@ I've heard of, it's funny who's behind the BLM movement, Same morons who brought us Antifa
I watched a great video of a black lady slamming this rubbish, she told so many truths and was a pleasure to watch, very well spoken and told it how it was to these protestors.

I want someone to tell me why poor old Jimmy Cook is in the firing line. The poor bugger mapped the Pacific, killed a few Maoris, but then got hacked to death in Hawaii and cooked by them. I reckon he suffered enough for any crime he did.

Maybe these dumbos think that if Cook hadn't "discovered' Australia for the Europeans, the aborigines would still be in sole possession of the great south land.

The Aboriginals I know have no interest in bagging Cook as a figure in history, and never have, but monuments using the woed ''discovered'' do upset them.
I think Morrison trying to ''own'' Cook through his seat name and significance, spending a large amount of money best used elsewhere on a re-enactment has put a bad taste in people's mouths. |

They pick on Cook because he’s the famous one. His voyage was an extraordinary achievement and his charts were so accurate they were still in use 100 years later. He played no part in the decision to settle New South Wales . That was primarily Joseph Banks doing. I suppose you could blame Cook for bringing Banks home safe and sound. I think Australians should read Cooks journal and what he thought of the east coast and the people who lived here. Plus the debates that went on around whether or not to send the First Fleet. You won’t find any mention of Terra Nullius by the way!

Needless to say, no hand-wringing "woke" journalist will ever enquire of one of these people, what alternate fate might have befallen them, if it wasn't Cook. It could very easily, and most likely, have become a French possession. |

This was published in this morning's OZ
Apparently they’re renaming Perth because it’s named after a town in Scotland where a man who lived there in the 1600s hired a chimney sweep who had once worked in London and cleaned the house of a lawyer who had worked on the will of a shipbuilder, one of whose ships was used by a timber merchant who’d shipped timber that was used to build the outhouse of a man who asked for some Coon cheese at the local deli. |

Because that person was illustrating how stupid and naive those statue desiccators' actions are to people in the real world. He was making a mockery of their confused reasoning.

Donald was quoting them on twitter this week in response to 72% supporting ANFITA. He says the silent majority(presumably the other 28%) dont.

Dessication of statues, is a skilled operation. It reminds me of one of Wile E Coyote's favoured devices, ACME Dehydrated Boulders. |

What a pity these protestors don't arrive to help agriculture , and do some work on farms and get our produce to market.
They don't need the skills of a Brain Surgeon but it's not being willing, that is killing---- harvesting. Farmers can't compete with the dole and with no Back Packers , Trouble is the name of their game. WE ARE SHORT OF WORKERS -- |

As reported on radio this morning farmers cannot get people to harvest crops because .. A. governments have keep borders closed B. People on Jobsearch are being paid $1500 a fortnight to sit on their bums in cities and would not get that harvesting crops If they do way with A, soon, & B , in September, maybe produce will get back to markets and no longer rot on the plantations. Of course the ALP wants Jobsearch to extend until the end of the year. Do they having any idea how farmers are being screwed ?
