Did you watch it ?

It was like watching a 5 kilo claimer, He constantly had the horse up on the steel over racing.

Of course I watched it that’s why I asked.
Don’t think it was Purtons fault or a bad ride.
From the 12 gate he positioned it beautifully from barrier 12. The horse seemed to travel well until Tegre de Terre took off around them and the horse fired up for a few strides
It settled again, eased out and got a clear run and hit the line like the 2000+ horse it is

Acknowledge that this is a ruthless business, but still feel for the battler trainer who made this horse.

And so do I fwiw, a ready made racehorse with youth on his side walks in and bowls em over, won't be the last of our promising young stayers for the cashed up Chinese to get hold of , money talks all languages to most, so expect more.

Dark Dream would not reach the heights he goung to reach if he stayed in Australia.

He'd have had 6 or 7 starts in the spring 5 of them in totally unsuitable events.

I don’t follow HK racing. What distance was the HK race that Dark Dream ran in? Was he 1st up?

He's been sent back to Australia, now with Ben & JD Hayes
Won a trial at Wodonga last week, nominated for Caulfield at the weekend.

Have we considered he might be a sydney way horse?

We saw Aramayo today put in a lovely Epsom trial after having similar lead up form in Melbourne.

I am prepared to give him one more go (at odds), away from the Valley and especially if he comes north for something leading into a Metropolitan.

Yaeh looks like an ideal type for the 1800m listed race on Cup day into the Eclipse, the Fields Of Omagh double.
