Lets see what we have come up with.

Race 1. How Womantic won well for us fresh and can not see why she can not win again. 

Race 2. This is a shocking carnival race, seriously! Oh if you need a selection then Easy beast and Aspirate along with Design Rouge are the main hopes.

Race 3. Wait a minute! I think we have hit the bottom of the barrel here. Again I would be purchasing lunch during this event but if you need to have a bet then 3, 4, 7, 8 and 16. If he is here then Attorney looks well placed and he is the bet if he is here. If not Skyman is the bet.

Testa Rossa. I think Brooklyn Hustle is beautifully placed here and I hope she is here. If not Order Of Command and Alfa Oro are the main hopes. Runson can run well off his fresh run.

Race 5. Some nice types here. Buffalo River will be all the rage here, but this is a good strong field to see where he sits. For me Windstorm, Travimyfriend (in career best form) and if the race was at Flemington I would be betting up on Adelaide Ace. I will go Windstorm only because he should be in front of Travimyfriend at the home turn, but both can win. I want to see Buffalo River win in this company before I back him.

Caulfield Guineas Prelude. Not sure what to do here as the form is coming from numerous paths. I thought Crosshaven won well at Flemington and he is the main bet. Amish Boy and Prague both ran well in the Danehill. Not sure about the form from the McNeil where Flying Award ran second. The Cherry Tortoni formline is okay, but Crosshaven had him covered at the 1400m last time and here at Caulfield that should be the case again. Crosshaven the bet with Amish Boy and Prague the saving bets.

1000 Guineas. Instant Celebrity looks well placed here, with the only problem being where she gets in the run. Night Raid won well and the 1400m looks well placed. I thought Letzbeglam ran like a filly looking for the 1400m fresh. drawn to get a lovely run and she is a good each way bet. Personal can improve, but has to. I think the bottom three fillies are all talented, but they look like 1600m+ gallopers. I am hearing they will use the bottom filly's gate and if she rolls forward she can give cheek.

Underwood. With the Turnbull grabbing the genuine group 1 WFA gallopers, this is a weak group 1. For that reason Russian Camelot looks a moral. If he can not win here then something is seriously wrong! Humidor was sensational at the valley and if he is anywhere near his best he can win, and the field falls away after that. I thought The Chosen One was sensational fresh and he does like Caulfield, it is just whether he has had the freshness run out of legs. So Si Bon was right on Russian Camelots tail in the Makybe Diva and he can once again run a place here. Arcadia Queen is good but she goes from 1400 to 1800m here and she rises in grade. She can run well, but she will not win.

Race 9. For me Junipal, Inverloch and Odeon look well placed. I know she has a low rating, but Realm Of Flowers is an improver and the only disadvantage I can see is the weight as she should be getting about 53 or 54 instead of the 56 kilos. I could back her each way if we get double figures. Junipal and Inverloch for me.
