Obviously your understanding of punting is limited. The TABs takeout percentage is not spread equally over all runners. I am not going to tell you too much  how a punter can beat that TAB  takeout rate, but some combinations in exotic betting are far overbet and others are far underbet. If one concentrates on those combinations that are underbet you can make a profit.eg I never take numbers 1 and 1 in the daily double, because that is the first combination that punters will place their bets..it is overbet, same as the combination of 13 &13. and avoid horses whose names that are prefixed by the word "Lucky" . There are lot of omen and mug punters out there.
