He was pretty plain today & only laboured in the straight to finish 12th of 15, 7 Lens behind the leader.

No chance in the NZ Derby on that. Maybe leave him in NZ and let him mature as a 4yo.

This once promising 3yo is now with jumps maestro Kevin Myers at Wanganui and is entered for a 2500m maiden hurdle at Trentham tomorrow.

Was pretty plain at his hurdle debut last year, so will be interesting with an extra year of education behind him how he fares this season.

Was 3rd in that hurdle at Trentham last start.  Goes around shortly in a 2800m maiden hurdle at Te Rapa.  I’d like to think he’ll be back in the winners circle in this weak race.

That was a wretched display of jumping from Botti.  Last all the way & lost ground at every jump Ouch

On that display, it’s hard to see even a master trainer like Kevin Myers getting another win out of him

Didn’t think we’d see this guy back in Australia again. But he’s entered for a 2400m race at Sandown today.

Didn’t really take to jumping over the NZ winter but has since won his last 3 flat races - 2200m (twice) & 3000m.

I think that 3000m win at Riccarton was a Jericho Cup qualifier, so will probably see him at the Bool in a few weeks time.

Tough effort running 2nd in the Jericho Cup today.  If anything, looked a bit unlucky in the straight hemmed in between runners and having to check and come wide.

He jumped wretchedly in his 2022 jumps campaign, so not sure if Kevin Myers will try him over the hurdles again in 2023.  But geez he’s got plenty of stamina!

Didn't see the race Lord so can't comment on being hemmed in.  But looking at the results reckon you could've got 101/1 about the first five finishing within 3 lengths of each other in a race over 4650m!

Solid effort in the maiden hurdle at Ballarat today with yet another placing.

Runner up in the Jericho Cup last year, so will be interesting to see if he’s kept in work for another tilt at that race.
