Looks Group class for sure, maybe Group One.

Found his G1 today Grey Affair , ran time again , 1600 - 1-34-95 , against 1-36-43 in the open mile won by Ranier. still looks immature to me , plenty more to come. StarStarStar

Golden Eagle over 1500m at Rosehill is apparently the main aim for the Spring.

Apart from drawing 6 and racing three-wide throughout in an appallingly arrogant ride by Allen.  Angry

I think that's the problem, he's used to getting such good rides he can do that if he wants.....usually. Brave effort from Ayrton the 1400m at Flemington all turn until the straight. Brought many a star undone.

In hindsite was he poorly weighted compared to the two that knocked him off ?

Ayrton is going through the grades, the two that knocked him off have been about the top grade for a while. The winner ran a great race in last years Feehan.

This time Shawy I have to say, WTF.

He seems to be a good class galloper, but unless he wins the Golden eagle or he can win a Everest in the future that money is good.

$4.1m for winning the Golden Eagle.  I'd be taking the punt.

After the Hollindale today suggest its fair to say this hugely talented galloper either doesn't handle the heavy or went wrong.  Ouch

AYRTON – When question in relation to the below market expectation performance jockey H Bowman reported that the gelding over raced and raced on its wrong leg during the middle stages of the event which in his opinion was the major contributing factor to the poor performance. A post-race veterinary examination revealed the gelding to be mildly lame in the near-foreleg. The trainer’s representative for the Price/Kent jnr stable was advised they would be required to obtain a veterinary certificate for the gelding prior to it next racing. A swab sample was taken.

Not sure what the stable has been doing with him Lord?

I would have thought you run him in the drier periods of the year yet the horse is having his second up run, leading into the wet season for tracks all over the eastern states.

I mean where do they go now? Perth.
