Would seem this is dead in the water....with an overwhelming increase in Australians wanting no change

Interestingly (PT) those progressive younger Australians you were banging on about have the highest % for it to remain as is Confused

They try to diminish the relevance of Jan 26. But by calling Jan 26 Invasion Day you are literally giving Jan 26 relevance as the day Australia as we know it began. 

Jan 1 already New Years. 

May 8 bogan and getting cold. 

Be like telling someone born Sept 11 they aren't allowed to celebrate their birthday/anniversary. I've been to birthdays/parties on hard dates for me, I think how rude it would be of me to dismiss the person being able to celebrate. In fact I have a cousin and a nephew born on my deceased fathers birthday. Not for a second would I think to undermine their day of celebration. Same thing with Fathers Day or Mothers Day for people with deceased parents. That is current hurt for people, not hurt from generations back. 

One day during Jan/Feb (so that its summer time) we just need to cut ties with England. That will be the new day. Until then its Jan 26.

Mine requires a little bit of clarification..   the young group have had the largest increase in % to keep it on the 26th since the last polling....which is interesting !

65+ had highest % in gross terms.

Young ones just had the biggest % jump.
