Most of the protest activity was on the weekends and in most cases it was none violent. Sadly there are some that are going around putting graffiti on things, smashing traffic lights and CCT cameras and in general trashing their own city. 

The economy is slowing down and no one is really travelling there now because of the protests. 

I also returned around 4 weeks ago,the business guy that we have gotten to know very well said the only thing the protesters where hurting was business,said it was dead.

And like you TR the damage to the city from graffiti and destruction of property is not being reported that much    

Who would of thought HK going into recession 

And as said on here HK is 🇨🇳. Always will be.
