Vandyke tells Alligator Blood's owners to find a new trainer
Australian Guineas winner Alligator Blood will not return to the David Vandyke stable after the Sunshine Coast trainer told owner Allan Endresz "he doesn’t want to train for [him] any more” last week. There had been tensions between the ownership group and the Vandyke stable, which led to a falling-out during Alligator Blood’s Golden Eagle campaign. more...

FB post written by "Alligator Blood"
Hi Bloods. Your mate AB here.??????. Lots of news today as I report in from my spelling paddock. I have been getting lots of R&R and feeling refreshed. Early December I head into surgery and I’m told By the specialists I will be reinvigorated and back in 4-6 months.
I have just been given the news that my old mate, David Vandyke has parted ways and doesn’t want to train me anymore. Such a shame but looking forward to a fresh start with a new trainer. Probably best if I hang around in Sydney or Melbourne to take on the big races in 2021. Although David has given up on me, I’ll never give up. My owners never give up. The bloods will never give up. These things happen and I’m always grateful for David in getting me a G1. More G1s to come with my next trainer.
Unfortunately, humans can find it difficult to get on with each other from time to time. When Aunty Robyn and Uncle Jeff clashed with David’s partner, Emma Lehman during my Sydney campaign, things only festered when we all got back to the Sunshine Coast. It left David with a tough choice to keep a harmonious environment. Either it was me or Emma who had to go. David chose Emma over me, the QLD horse of the year!
On Friday, 20 November 2020, David let my owners know that all their horses were to be moved on. Can you believe that! Not only be a G1 winner, but my little buddies, Crypto Tycoon, Wolf Moon and even the new potential superstar, Bronze Dragon. I guess things didn’t help when my great singing buddy, Allan, insisted on getting me to the vets at QLD UNI Gatton campus for a full scan. I knew something was wrong after I went down in the barriers at the Silver Eagle. David thought It was my attitude, but it turns out I have been exerting myself with a painful “Kissing Spine”.
Anyway, everyone is now happy. David has Emma and I’m heading to a new trainer in Sydney or Melbourne with my great owners Uncle Jeff, Aunty Robyn and Al. My other stable buddies will head to Billy Healey and Nat McCall with permanent track rider, Trish Gesler. I love Trish.
Keep the blood gator fans and never give up.

I assume training for the owners is quite the punish with all the side crap, made only justifiable with Alligator Blood competing in the features. With him on the sideline becomes more trouble than its worth

Is he talking out of school publicising the dispute although he does not go into detail ?
I kind of find it entertaining and he seems to take it in a light hearted manner.

Sometimes the need for longer-term peace of mind dictates you get rid of unhelpful baggage, often at personal financial cost.

Did you ever see the owners tweets on twitter. I reckon he is mad. All over the place at times or he is just very very passionate.

Don’t think DVD will lose any sleep over this bloke. He was going well before Alligator and probably gained more respect from the industry for booting the bloke. Opens up space for any lapdogs wishing to jump in.

NSW man bankrupted over claimed $10m debtAn Albury businessman has been declared bankrupt in a win for the Commonwealth which says he owes it more than $10 million following a long-running court battle. The Commonwealth had applied to the Federal Court for a sequestration order against Allan Paul Endresz . He opposed it on a number of grounds, including a submission that the judge could not be satisfied that the debt was still owing. But Justice Jacqueline Gleeson on Thursday made the order and ruled that the Commonwealth's legal costs of $19,739 be paid from the estate of Mr Endresz. In its March application, the Commonwealth said Mr Endresz owed it $11,588,824. This was said to be the balance of a debt order of $18,633,178 made in the ACT Supreme Court in 2014 less $7,044,354 received in part satisfaction of the debt. "The creditor's petition notes that the Commonwealth holds security over property of Mr Endresz consisting of an equitable charge over real property, leaving an unsecured debt of $10,308,824.42," the judge said. The Commonwealth in 1999 commenced the ACT proceedings which concerned payments of federal funds to Albury-based company CTC Resources. The payments were made by David Muir, an employee of a contractor of the Commonwealth, who was subsequently convicted of fraud. Justice Gleeson said the summary provided by Mr Endresz stated that the judge found the payments were made without parliamentary authority and were therefore illegal and void. The ACT judge concluded that Mr Endresz, among others, was liable for knowingly assisting in the breaches of fiduciary duty. Over the years, a number of appeals and other proceedings took place culminating in the bankruptcy application. I don’t think people have forgotten, and some may wonder why the horse hasn’t been able to win again since the positive swab.

This condition is extremely debilitating to any horse, let alone in one expected to race at full speed & in heavy conditions. I hope he recovers fully but certainly won't be holding my breath.
Queensland Horse of the Year Alligator Blood will
not compete during the summer carnival, with tests at the Gatton campus
of the University of Queensland this week revealing he requires back
surgery. Trainer David Vandyke reported to both QRIC and Racing
NSW stewards on Friday that the gelding has been diagnosed with
degenerative changes to a number of his dorsal spinous processes, or
kissing spines. Vandyke told stewards the surgery means the Group 1 Australian Guineas winner will spell for at least four months, with “the prognosis good for future racing”.

I think you'll find Alligator Blood won both the CSHayes Stakes and the Australian Guineas AFTER the Magic Millions Guineas? I think you will also find neither of the swabs from the CSHayes or the Australian Guineas displayed any irregularities? I think that is the case but I stand to be corrected.

Be interesting to see how he goes for Gai. While the owner gives me the shivers, I feel for the poor horse. I hope they dont just race him until he has nothing left to give.
