There seems little doubt if either the ALP or the Coalition were lead into this election with alternative leaders the opposing party would be advantaged. Take Elbow for example. He was clueless about the cash and unemployment rates. Would you trust a doctor who did not know normal body temperature or an accountant who did not know income tax rates ? Recently when pressed about his property holdings Elbow handballed to Jason Clare and earlier this week he fled questions about his policy costings. As former NSW premier Neville Wran once said " boys from Balmain do not cry ". Seems out west in Elbow's territory, a dummy spit is quite acceptable. Is that how Australians expect an aspiring PM to act ? 

Let's hope, if he becomes PM, has does not have too many "brain freezes " when he is overseas representing Australia at any important seminars or conferences .

Will they give him a Q card or spread sheet when he is asked a question on the spot ? Like Tanya the other day when she did not know the basis of the threshold for income ( gross or taxable ) for a first home buyer eligibility for the ALP 40 % home loan grants scheme . To her embarrassment , moments later, she was given a Q card, could have been a spread sheet, by an advisor so she could provide the answer, mind you, to the ALP's own program.
