Well Darcy did the most eloquent captain's speech ever, and I've heard he reads books. Maybe that's enough to start gay rumours among boofheads.

He'd better not go there to try it out on the locals if the rumour is true.

Most of the older AFL personalities appear straight.

Though it would appear many of them trade in their partners for a new model around the 40-50 years of age mark.

Pie fans do not care if he is gay...or if he isn't. It's his business. No-one else's.

Same with the other player who has been rumoured to be gay.

Darcy is a champion bloke, a great footballer, a wonderful captain and an eloquent speaker...

A shame a few boofheads from other clubs aren't as talented.

as long as they have consent (hello de goey) it doesn't really matter who they sleep with.

Watching the game yesterday, which I confess I rarely do but the AFL seems to be no different to the NRL in regards to changing the fabric of the game by ignoring the rule book

Well it's 2nd time around for the Craig (for whatever reason mind you), however without naming names another three past/current coaches have opted for a new model over the last year or so.  A clear trend it would appear over recent times: particularly with sportspersons but also mirrored to a lesser extent within the general public.

The man nearly released from the club, sits by himself in an empty MCG, reflecting on the day...

Mason Cox was vital to winning. Those huge clearance whacks set up so many chances.

A truly great competitor over 16 or so years, but almost as old as our resident Bombers supporter Baghdad Bob! Shocked

She is regularly interviewed and is often in Steele's arms when he starts the Collingwood song after winning.

Collingwood vice-captain Taylor Adams has informed the Magpies that he would like a trade to Sydney, reports The Age’s Peter Ryan and Michael Gleeson.

The report says the 30-year-old has informed his teammates of his decision, which he came to after attending the club’s Copeland Trophy on Friday night.

Adams missed out on becoming a Collingwood premiership player last weekend with a hamstring injury keeping him sidelined for the Grand Final win.

It’s expected that Adams will receive a three-year deal from the Swans, and while the club has suggested previously that the midfielder is a required player, the report says the expectation is they will agree to a trade in good faith.

Adams is currently contracted for one more season at Collingwood. He has played 175 games for the club since moving across from GWS where he started his career.

Ginnivan's manager in trade talks re a move despite being contracted in 2024?  As a Woods supporter I say get rid of him and good riddance.
