 As for the controversy over that late 'advantage' on Neale, which Bailey took...and messed up...if Brisbane had scored from that advantage played, would there have been any controversy?

 The best team won. They had less frees...16 to Brisbane's 22, but still battled on to et more shots at goal. They lost a vital player early...and two players from the normal selected team before the game. Adams and McStay so unlucky to miss, with injury.

 But our thoughts go out to Johnny Noble, who looked devastated when hugging his team-mates after the game. It was cruel that Frampton got a medal, while John didn't. The little gutsy player never ever gave anything but his all...and didn't deserve not to be the sub...at the very least. 

 I'm lapping up all the news stories, enjoying the win. Like Mason Cox, I was in tears after the game. It means more than any non-Pie fan can imagine, especially after 2018.

 

 

  

Could not agree more those unnecessary tackles by Berry, resulting in deserved 50 metre penalties, cost Brisbane the game. If I was to mark the umpires out of 10 they would only get 6 as they made quite a few bad decisions, as others have pointed out, against both sides, during the game, even the first bounce of the game had to be recalled.

It’s an odd game, players were being smashed in the back, iff the ball, hit high and the moronicnniggle and shoulders all game long.

That a gently tackle was deemed so bad while all the other nonsense goes on is laughable

 No tackling around the legs, either.

 The stupidist part of yesterday's game is that a player going backwards from the mark got Brisbane a free fifty. While another player infiltrating Masson Cox's kicking space was ignored...

 Umpires deciding games pisses everyone off.
