Interested in lot 804 I think it is.  Just because it has local connections who did very well out of the mare , Slots, when racing.  Going thru Torryburn .  Havnt even looked at it so will some of you smart ones have a look and give me an opinion please ?

Looks a nice enough type overall without a stunning head LOL which I doubt will deter many Big smile

Lot 804 - So You Think (NZ) / Slots (AUS)

Reserve 80 thous.  Sold for 160 thous.   Have to be happy with that.
However.   They stuffed around with the lot 2 before him.   Went from opening at about 100 thous and up by 5 and 10 thous bids to final 720 thous sale.  How much time should they spend on one horse FF$.
Even the auctioneer said we will have to bring in the next 3 together to make up time.
Then this horse comes in and he goes up to 160 and before anyone has time to make another bid they knock him down ????
Why do they give one horse so much time, then crack off another quick smart ?

Bought into a lovely, big Vancouver filly from Swiftly Red at last year's digital Vobis Gold Yearling sale.  She was knocked down for $25,000.

Her half brother by Impending which I didn't think was as good a type sold at MM yesterday for $240,000!

Just for the record, Gai's Slipper winner 2022 (her quote)

Lot 564 - Not a Single Doubt (AUS) / More Cheers (NZ)  $320k Gai/Adrian
The funniest thing about this particular signature is that by the time you realise it doesn't say anything, it's too late to stop reading it.
