Tulsi Gabbard gets my vote purely on her honesty

Gabbard denounced Clinton as “queen of warmongers, embodiment of corruption, and personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party.”

Kamal Harris has joined Steve Bullock and Joe Sestak in dropping out of the race this week.

Harris will be the only one whose exit will have some impact. It will now be interesting to see where her 5-6% of votes migrates.

(CNSNews.com) -- Apparently because Hillary Clinton suggested today that she is being groomed by the Russians to mount a third party run, presidential contender Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) tweeted a sarcastic "thank you" to the former first lady and described her as the "queen of warmongers" and the "personification of the rot that has sickened the Democratic Party for so long."

In a podcast interview earlier today, Clinton said, "I’m not making any predictions, but I think they’ve [Russia] got their eye on somebody who’s currently in the Democratic primary and they’re grooming her to be the third-party candidate. She’s the favorite of the Russians. They have a bunch of sites and bots and other ways of supporting her so far and that’s assuming Jill Stein will give it up because she’s also a Russian asset.”

Politico reported that Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill confirmed that Clinton was referring to Gabbard.

Shrunky, why do you think the Russian trolls and Republicans are supporting Tulsi?

btw, Hillary isn't the only one calling her a Russian asset, most of the other candidates have also said it openly.

She aims to be 2020's Jill Stein.

Hillary presided over Obama's Offshore Balancing, or doing what America was doing re the Syrian Kurds or Egyptian Tunisian opposition groups. Republicans claimed they were destroying America's Foreign Policy by NOT going to war, but dont ruin their sad little talking points tlaz. They will only get new lies anyway.

Biden needs to wind back the clock 10+ years. The guy is incoherent at times. Imagine what he would be like were he to win the presidency and be campaigning for re-election in 4 years time. They have a real problem if he wins the nomination here IMO.

As opposed the totally coherent Trump?

With Biden it will be about who the VP candidate is. Biden will only be to beat Trump and pass the baton. Harris will be a likely VP, black/white male/female older/younger.

Despite his shortcomings Biden still has easily the highest standing with African Americans with over 70% approval. Without black vote you cant win.

Why does Fox like Gabbard? Her policies look pretty Democratic.

They like her because she continually pots her own party.

She is a Libertarian, like Bernie on the left or Rand Paul on the right.

Trump can at least articulate what he’s trying to say. He might be full of gelati and a total scumbag amongst a variety of other issues but I’m yet to hear him go off on any tangents as totally unrelated to the topic as what Biden regularly veers I to. Biden gets asked a question and can’t answer it. It’s obvious he has Alzheimer’s and that’s only going to get worse at his age.

That may well be true but this is a year when the whole thing on both sides is dominated by Septuagenarians, Trump, Biden, Sanders, Warren, Bloomberg.

People dont seem to be too concerned about age, health or how far off any of them are to dementia. This election will just be a referendum on Trump, and sort out the rest after he is gone.

Age is only an issue if you have begun to develop common ailments typically affecting older people. And I’d be saying they same thing re: Biden if he was in his 50s and afflicted with what he obviously has. All of those other old candidates you mention do not have the same issues that Biden has. They can all articulate their views and answer questions.

I am not arguing the fact that Biden is slipping, that is obvious. I just dont think it will be an issue this election. Last time Trump and Hillary exchanged barbs around health and competency. I just dont think this time with Bernie's heart attack, Trump's mysterious hospital visit and missing golf for 3 weeks that it will be front and center as an attack issue from Trump.

May not be an issue, who knows. Given this probably appears to be a for Trump or Against Trump election then you’re probably right. Personally I would be thinking further ahead though. If I was voting I would be looking for someone more coherent.

It is still way too soon to pick a candidate, but it is becoming increasingly more clear that it is difficult for Bernie or Warren. Their left lane combined poll scores are consistently around 32% while the combined moderate to centre lane led by Biden Buttegieg, Castro, Booker Bloomberg etc total well over 50% so unless centrist dropouts supporters switch to the left, Biden or Buttegieg look most likely at this stage

He is a real chance Bob. Doing the right things, talking to people he needs to. Will be interesting in the upcoming December debate how much they go after him. It is down to six candidates, and he is a genuine front-runner.
