I thought for a while it was going to be a Craig Williams slaughter.

Thank goodness he had enough home straight to launch late & win

Has a bad habit of bombing the start and racing like an absolute slug, saves it all for his finish.

Looks to have a few races in mind for next year.
Auckland Cup, Adelaide Cup and Sydney Cup

Unlikely to take his part in the Jericho in a fortnight.
As it’s a BM90 he will get too much weight

It has happened. I've seen stayers win at 1400m first up. It's possible.
Australian racing is only good up to 1400m in terms of world standards when it comes to depth/quality in numbers

Terrific return by Yogi.

Always liked this guy & love the Raise The Flag progeny.

He’ll need to keep on improving to be competitive in a Sydney Cup though, where he’ll hooefully he lining up against the likes of Finche, Jaameh, Youngstar & co.

Had him pegged more as an Adelaide Cup horse but that’s on in early March so probably co es up s bit soon.

Last I heard, that was the plan.
He will be transferred up to Ciaron’s Sydney stable and head towards the Cup

Will be running in the Tancred on Saturday.

I had to laugh.  We can't breed stayers but the top weights were Yogi (NZ) and Destiny's Kiss (AUS) and they battled it out and beat the european and japanese brigade.

If he were mine he'd go next in the Grafton Cup and 9 days later the 3200m race.

That’s an option according to one of the owners pages.
They’re going to see how he recovers and decide where he goes.

There actually are plenty of good options for 2nd tier stayers over the winter.

He showed he’s adept at 3200m, so I’d probably go with the Stayers Cup at Rosehill & the Queensland Cup at Eagle Farm.

Resuming today in the last at Caulfield and usually goes well 1st up from a spell.

He’d be a perfect horse to aim at the Adelaide Cup in March.

Eustace said more specifically Brisbane & possibly Adelaide on the way thru'. Needs his runs well spaced so, reading between the lines, obviously has wear & tear niggles.

King of Leogrance was really impressive at Flemington last time. But I’m hoping old Yogi can run a big race in the Adelaide Cup today.

Running him in the Torney Cup on the tight MV circuit was a mistake & he’d have been better placed winding up the on the spacious Flemington in the Roy Higgins. Anyways, he gets to the wide open spaces of Morphettville today.

He’s a proven commodity over 3200m & I’d love to see him get another feature race win.
