Much better effort from Boogie Woogie Man, wanted to roll out a bit under pressure by the looks of it, but fought on doggedly to finish 2nd.
Finally back on track after the issues he has had.

Florida Pearl lining up again today in R5 at Warrnambool.
Would love a drop of rain but I'm sure she'll try her guts out as usual.

Really happy with Trueno's return yesterday running a fighting 3rd at Morphettville. He was on empty in the last 50m but tried his absolute guts out to hold his ground.

1100m in a fortnight is the plan

our Rebel Raider colt, Danger Deal had his first hit out Saturday at Morphettville. 1000m 2yr old race.
looked good up until the turn, copped a little nudge and frightened him. trailed off towards the rear after that.

clare handled him well, he is going to be a big boy.  Once he fills out and gains more experience as he builds to longer distances he will do well.

I was happy with how it all turned out.  See how he pulls up now.

Just a quick update on one of ours,
Sirius Witness - she's been off a long while, but has come through the pre-trainers well this time. Now in work with her new trainer Matt Cumani.

Back to the mile today with I'll Miss You at Ballina in race 9. She has drawn wide but she gets back in her runs so the barrier may not be a worry. Home track today.

Can he get there?  I dunno.

Hi Tillyras.  I hope who ever is in charge of the syndicate is in for the long hall.  The first three dams have been very very good broodmares.  So hopefully this one can do the job at stud also.

Most Secret produced this filly as a 21 year old mare so you can see what a good job she did.  And while she missed the season after foaling she was put in foal the next season as a 24 year old!  That said this filly goes back to the dam of Stardust the sire of Star Kingdom which is probably why this female line came to Australia in the first place.

Thinking of the future looks a nice match for some Zabeel blood.  Or a Zabeel/Zeditave cross like Reset if he's still serving.  Or Pins blood would be interesting also.  Which brings in Stratum's son Stratum Star.

Hope he makes it SC.

And hope Showdown's mare runs well on Saturday.

Goodluck all.

Thanks furious, she was a beautfiul looking filly in the parade. Instantly fell in love with her, and we later found out that the syndicate we are already involved with had bought her!

She is with Darren and Liz Dance from ATB (probably best known as owners of Heartbreak City, Dandino, Taiyoo etc)

They have several broodmares on the farm (Manningtree Park) near Ballan (Victoria)
They also own Dandino who has done a great job in his first season at stud.

They certainly will be looking after her when she finishes up on the track.
