that looks a lot like a working week getting progressively warmer each day, followed by the regulation southerly change on Friday night, bringing some relief on Saturday with nice mild temperatures for horse racing..

Crazy ass weather this morning. Awful for tour companies let me tell you. The Chinese all expect the tour to be cancelled, and wont walk to the pick up points and demand you pick them up from their hotel, The trains were down, so I had customers running 30 minutes late for pick ups......plus theres twice as much traffic on the road. Was chaos for me, and for sure, most Melbournites.

The Highs are starting to win now and look like they will be winning all the way  through to Saturday week for Victoria.

Only an unexpected Low forming could stuff that up and no-one can predict that happening and it's rare - so looks okay.

It's Wet weather gear for Derby day as the start of the next High that's moving in has dragged up a little too much cold air - Juno will not be amused if she's visiting.

Need rain badly, however when a front came through earlier today the Riverina copped a fair fall but we got none.  Angry

However a second front just came through and dumped 30mls in 20 minutes. Clap

So far this year, B'rat is down 4" (100mm) on last year, a very dry one & 8" down on the average Angry. The only good any rain will do from now on, is settle the dust.

Well, Collingwood very wet. Too wet to get the single speed out, so had to walk to get my single-origin drip coffee today, and got my loafers wet...water dripping from my beard into my reusable mug also not cool...
