Will have a little each way in R2 at Tamworth on South Bend.

He’s a 4yo by Americain who is a cast off from the David Hayes yard, who has run some fair races down in Victoria. Last time out he was a 5 length 4th behind Torrens at Port Macquarie, and Torrens won at Caloundra on Saturday. Getting out to 2100m today will be a plus for him too.

Tamworth R4. N4. Garçon , first starter by Duporth, nice trial late dec. jockey sticks, a watch imo, if it has 1/4 of ability as its namesake who won the 1966 Hobartville and 2nd in the AJC Derby ridden by the great G.Moore he can win this.

Missed the race but I see the jockey has copped at least one shellacking on twatter.

They left it in, backed into 3/1 jockey draggedit back ( couldn't get in) but done nothing in the run home , trainer said jockey told her after his trial that quote" he's a machine" dunno what to make of it but nowhere near trial performance.

Winner ran 58.41 in that 900m trial.  Carioca and I could've nearly walked faster.
