I'm with you, 88 - loved the effort of that horse second up over an unsuitable trip on a hot speed. He looks the goods. Get on!

Of the Melbourne horses, definitely Lord Tavistock. Whether he heads that way, however, remains to be seen.

Of the Sydney horses, probably Baci Amore.

Of the other horses, Sufficient. I backed this horse in the Golden Rose, did poorly, then backed it again in the Ming Dynasty, and he ran a bottler. Will be better over longer. The Kiwi to watch.

LARRYS NEVER LATE bit of a roughie for the Derby think the distance will be ideal for this horse and i would get on now as his odds will shorten.

Loved the run of rhyno chaser yesterday at Newcastle..missed the kick and clearly should have won. If Baci Amore is a seriosu contender then Rhyno Chaser is a stand out.

No fancy prices but it may pay to keep an eye on JD Sadler's Marne in R5 at Bendigo today as a potential Derby prospect.

Elusive City from Guiliana may not mean a lot to you but the mare was by Zabeel from Joyfulness, a daughter of Denise's Joy.

He won his debut very nicely on the thoroughtrack at Geelong and only has to take to the turf to race right into Derby calculations.

A very close source is spruiking Miles Above. I'll be with him in the mounting yard tomorrow and he'll be the one going right off if he wins. The Derby is the big target for this horse, Good luck to him.
