I think theanswermyfriend is nearly a special in this. He was huge last start when running suicidal splits the 1st 600m. Over 1600m he should lead under his own steam and with no weight on his back good luck trying to get past him.

I don't know why people rate TAMF above Mr Sneaky the only time TAMF beat it this campaign mr sneaky went huge I think it has its measure.

Interesting, these two.
I think there is not a lot between them, if anything.
As in their past meetings, how the race is run will detetmine who beats who.

That is correct Voyager , the horse was purchased for her to train but Jane Chappel Hyam , told the owner she wouldn't prepare the horse for the prep if she didn't continue on as trainer for the Melbourne stint. . It was too complicated and costly for them to send someone to UK to prepare it .

Thanks Noccy. On his Ascot run, he is some hope here, although if it was Flemington I would be more confident.

The Racing Australia form listed Theanswermyfriend as failing to finish in a trial at Cranbourne today.  Does anyone know what happened ?

Something happened to two horses at the start of that trial, the caller only picked up one of them.

You can only just see Little Indian and Theanswermyfriend's heads coming together just after the start before they go out of shot.  It looked to be Little Indian  that had gone awry.

I'd like to know more...  Hopefully Dee just abandoned the trial because of the interference.

That doesn't sound ideal. Hopefully we hear more tomorrow!

Dee gave Theanswermyfriend a trial at Cranbourne on Monday, but it went awry when Little Indianwent sideways as the gates opened for the 990m gallop to significantly hamper Smerdon's charge, and that's where his day out ended.

But the Caulfield trainer said he came through the incident unscathed.

"He's fine - he jumped half-a-length slow, and the horse outside him did a left-hand turn and pushed him through the rail," Smerdon said.

"Those plastic rails just collapse, that's what happens, so he came to no harm thankfully.

"We just wanted to have a soft jumpout there and give Michael Dee some experience on him, but we were able to gallop him on the course proper this morning so there's no issue with him."
