^ The old boy almost got the chockies last week - what was that quinella paying, was sure i had it 100m out!Cry

Anyway, having something on these, although logic says "keep it in your pocket!"LOL

Flemington R3 # 1. Dibayani @ $19.00/$5.00 (Each Way) - the best racehorse in this race, has more class than most in training, but is a perennial bridesmaid. non-winner who should not be backed with Whale's money. VOTE NO!Thumbs Down

Flemington R6 # 9. Risque @ $41.00/$11.00 (Each Way) - kiwi G1 winner who has done squat in 2 runs back from a spell. Obviously hasn't come up and should be in the breeding barn.Broken Heart

Doomben R8 # 1. Prince Cheri @ $23.00/$5.50 (Each Way) was a promising former French stayer in another life. Back from a long spell and on the back of a nothing trial was backed as if unbeatable first up and did nothing. 9 yo who should be lazing about in a nice paddock.Sleepy

Morphettville R6 # 3. Spy Decoder @ $41.00/$11.00 (Each Way) another light of other days who showed promise as a young horse, but never scaled the heights. 3 from 32 say it all. Like plenty of other slow ones, he has been moved on to God's Waiting Room (no offence Judge!) and is still out of his depth. Hates wet tracks too! ... next stop Pioneer Park and a class 4.Pig

Surely there must some reason for their owners to run them?Confused

Spy Decoder was beaten by a promising one, but earned a reprieve from a trip to camel country!

Found a couple more this week that are ridiculous overs IMO.

Hastings R9 # 17. Chance To Dance @ 101.00 (boost) - popped up as a black booker, resuming for the strong Autridge & Richards stable in NZ this weekend. They are no fools, and at his best he is NZ G1 WFA competitive. they have the boom horse Gingernuts in as well ... sneaky quinella might pay ok too!Wink

Rosehill R9 # 1. Lunar Rise @ 126.00 (boost) - two runs back for new trainer have been modest, but fitter and drops significantly in class here. 1400m form is uninspiring, but has won at a mile, and may get a soft run near the lead here, and even with a big weight, should run well, a $15 chance paying $15 for a place.

Morphettville R4 # 5. Flying Casino @ 21.00 - loves this t/d, placed 2 of past 3 behind the short priced fav here, Holder back on and some weight relief, e/w and quinella with Kellstorm looks like easy money! F4 1,5,6,8

dibayani - bit of a non winner but second up is the time to back him. never missed a place second up and gets in ok at weights. Hoping he can roll forward from the gate at his own speed and sit on the pace. took the 25-1

I exposed your selections to the best system there is .
Like rubishing a Jockey ,   He'll ride a stack of winners to follow the bagging.
Kim Waugh is training her share of winners lately ...   NOW that is Delicious.

Morphettville R5 Arkham Knight - $26 boosted Ladbrokes and $19 generally elsewhere

A very consistent and progressive 4yo that won during the Warnambool (that form generally holds up at this time of year) when hadn't eaten for 2 days and was nearly scratched the morning of the race. Looking for the mile now and form on Soft ground is impeccable. A step up in grade today but the toppie is a risk as needs runs spaced and plenty in this field incl LOP are suspect in the wet. Raw Impulse 3rd up and onto a soft 7 looks the danger and if LOP handles the wet.
Tell the truth - there is less to remember

Struggling to get excited about anything this weekend, other than ...

SR 8 #1 Sons Of John @ $23

Obviously had his issues, a lightly raced rising 8 yo, but a class above these, and in well if he is near his best. Loved the way he was working into it first up, before he was almost put through the running rail - was easily going as well as the winner! Would love to see some money come for him, think I'll back him again!Thumbs Up
