There were a couple of classic comment last night during the ABC Radio commentary when Labuschagne walked into a rocket that landed half an inch to the left of his groin...

While Labuschagne was rolling around on the pitch, the commentators were quick to point out that it was the last ball of the over and that "No Balls" were left.... (And of course they were chuckling like some lucky squirrels who had found some "nuts"

I've lost my free to air ATM   weak signal for some reason so fox is the go until sorted , been listening to abc and some funny banter, that is until McGrath comes on , just can't warm to him but that's a very minor issue.

Until Archer started bowling in this series, I had not realised how much fun, pure speed bowling could be. No wonder the crowds went wild in the 70's for Jeff Thomson.

He could singlehandedly win this series for the home side!

If Labuschagne manages to get a hundred tonight, what happens for the 4th test? Head out? Or Harris out with Khawaja and Labuschagne moving up a spot with Smith at four?

Best batsman since Bradman at 4, substitute batsman at 3. Confused

I hear all the old champions saying over and over again that your best batter goes in at 3 but what would they know?Big smile Nobody seems to take their advice.

Yes the ''old'' wisdom was that your openers weather the new ball and the best batsman comes in at 3 to give him maximum potential time at the crease.

At some stage England will be worth having a small clacker on. They will be chasing 350 on a day 3 pitch.

Lol, when he gets a " 5 for" 7 times then he may be , at this stage he's just the new boy on the block, I'll settle for Hazelwood at this stage.

Conditions tonight will be the key - if they suit the pace bowlers again, England's batting can be just as fragile as ours - could be over in 3 days and toss a coin who wins.

If it is similar overcast weather, the Aussie bowlers will do well to follow Archer's lead, take some pace off and not try to have the ball do too much. That's what cost Broad, too much movement at times.

It won't be boring.

Archer and Stokes will struggle to bowl tonight ... Aussies have enough anyway!

Bring on the GOAT!Big smile
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

This has been the case in most test sides for sometime, Lara, Tendulkar, Sangakkara, Kallis and Kohli as examples, all the lynchpin of the side, all batted 4.

With the pitch catching up to the game and Lyon particularly looking dangerous late today, England will be hard pressed to save this now. They need 203 on a pitch that is starting to do stuff with 7 wickets remaining.

I cashed out at $2.30 England after Lyon came on and tied both Denley and Root in knots.

Rooted.

Out you go Joe.  Caught Warner of course.  He had a shocker at first slip at Lord's and has caught absolutely everything since

Count them down : 6 to go.
