Maiden winner Guilty As Charged has returned a positive swab sample to the banned substance arsenic.

The Stephen Theodore-trained galloper returned a positive post-race urine sample after winning at Geelong on May 29.

Racing Victoria stewards advised Theodore of the irregularity on August 1, which has since been confirmed.

Stewards are continuing their investigations into the the positive sample.

Arsenic based products have been used in many horse sport for years , it's safe in minute amounts but the results are amazing I have used it myself, it turns finicky eaters around an improves coats an skin condition like you never seenšŸ‘I would hardly believe it would improve a horses performance šŸ˜accept in the way that they probably had never absorbed the right nutrition before to allow themselves to look & feel that good, one in particular is
Jurocyl.....no worse than a human on Warfarin' which is actually RatSak' which makes the rats & mice run off & bleed to deathšŸ™Š

I'd have thought we moved on from Phar Lap a bit - just a few yeas back a Tassie trainer had a positive swab for arsenic  in a Vic black type race - but they couldn't get a second accredited lab for the B sample or some such and they wouldn't pay him until he got some lawyers

Boy I could unload some stories about this family.

I mean seriously how bad a look is it when we just keep slapping some participants on the wrist.

Either something is against the rules or not! And if it is and you are on your tenth breach, then it should be see you later and find something else to do with your life.

If improves their appetite but builds up in their system and causes their hair to drop out. Used to be used a lot many years ago.

In the past year this stable had 50 runners for two non metro wins (4%). Shows the difference when under scrutiny

Were it just as simple.

In point of fact it instead demonstrates that he's lost his earlier client base, resulting in a huge decrease in number and class of runners with an entirely unsurprising downturn in results as a consequence.

Though more than some would say that's entirely appropriate.

Shows the difference when they canā€™t tube. Shea Eden is a case in point.

Every winner they have had prior you have to wonder (were they tubed) and the answer is probably. Hopefully the drug cheats will disappear eventually.
