You can't drop the reins on inexperienced babies djebel, they tend to roll about just like taking your hands of the wheel, but she is promising imo.

Fournette got home in Race 4 at Canterbury today.  Good effort to go from maiden to mid-week.

But he really needs a head line act or two IMO.

Thanks for the info. The amount of time he was kept back probably means he was affected by that virus that went through the stable i would think.

Interesting to see how he goes.

Either trainers are f**king them right up or they lack a bit of the old intestinal fortitude. A few of them that travel well throughout a race fail to hit the line with any great gusto.

Could be.

4 runners today for 3 winners and a slashing 3rrd all on soft surfaces.

They all looked promising.

Well the rain will come and we will find out.  As long as the trainers at least try them over 1600+.  Like the High Chap's they should get better when that happens.  Nice to see La Diosa get South Island horse of the year in NZ.

Thanks for the link.

I hope you did not think I was rude, I had simply not seen the post having not opened the thread for a while.

I suspect Cosy Club is his first jumper ?

A few Fastnet Rocks and Redoute's are also going over the jumps.  Redoute's had on win in France the other day over the jumps.

I'm sure I've seen a Foxwedge or two in the bumpers as well. Good stallions can sire them at any distance Tongue

Also no, of course not, Djebel.

I don't know very much about jumps races in Europe. Is it common for young fillies to be aimed at jumping? One of the commentators in Cuckoo's Calling's race said something like it probably wasn't the trainer's first plan for her.

Hi Djebel he had a winner overnight in England over 2 1/2 miles!  We definately don't have that style of race for him in Australia.
