Terrible situation. Kids were "embarrassed & called names" last week when doing an indigenous dance. To think this sort of behavior could occur in a quality area like MT Druitt is just appalling. Sign the petition for school kids to "show more respect" now.

While I agree kids shouldn't be bullied or picked on, Mt Druitt is a dead set hole and you would expect that behaviour in that area |

I guess there would be plenty aboriginal kids at a Mt Druitt school and plenty more brown and black ones.

Yep, exactly. I reckon in that area you would probably find the most diverse mix of races, colours, and creeds as just about anywhere else in Sydney.

Exactly Acacia. That's what we want isn't it? A lovely big multicultural society that brings the best out on everybody. Mt Druit is a great example. They should make a reality TV series on the area.

Some people aspire to living in Mt Druitt, compared to Shalvey, Whalan and other surrounding suburbs. Still $600k for a house.
