Opened $4.20 took $3.70

Not bad for a horse who ran 1000m on a dead track in 56.81 that's low flying...

Black Caviars demolition job of Karuta Queen at Caulfield over 1000m was around the 56.73/74 mark from memory.

Not wrapped about gate 10 but $3.70 seems O.K to me

few standouts tomorrow

Spirit Song
Samaready
Ranger
"Nelly"
Karuta Queen
Soft Sand

Good Luck

wouldn't mind some of that! was a tad busy Thursday didn't get to sniff a form guide until last night.

Happy with $3.70....... $13.70 into Soft Sand is tempting... (Oliver is the worry)

Soft Sands worry is not the jockey IMO..it's the distance, Anabandana and Graskop.

Be careful quoting times Vad, you might get attacked by the anti times brigade.
Good luck with them though.

better off backing the first one and then seeing how the track is playing .
The only problem with backing winners ? You never have enough on....

How many of these fillies have raced against each other? There are formlines from everywhere. Samaready, Applegate and Real Stolle all winning races at Flemington and Malasun from the other week. Too tough for me.

Banker of the day is Mufhasa in NZ. 1.90 wfa walk, trot, canter, moral.

Luxbet regularly open markets with flucs like 9's to 7's as they go up. It's a joke

Yeah looks good PR, have taken double into Shez Sinsational ($2.80). Also into Chicharita in the 5th who draws inside gate and is flying Big smile

I got $7's Big smile will be my first punt of the autumn carnival. I always keep a track on racing through the off-season but only get hyped up enough to bet when the 'good' horses are going round.

for those about to punt, we salute you...

Soft Sand  - plenty of ability  -  but would rather see her at Flemington or Sandown and think she needs further than 1200.

I 'd rather be backing Decircles each way than the skinny odds of Karuta Queen.

I think Mrs grays efforts in Sydney and GC (bad barrier, good run) since she was beaten over a length by Samaready frank that form well too.

There is the Diamond winner.

Entitled to be odds on after that.

Outstanding.

Nah that's ok Vad doesn't usually pick one so early with a realistic price.

He's actually done everything asked of him when declaring tips and this was has saluted.

Hope you had plenty on mate even if it was only the $3.70.

good work vad. I brought back the original thread as Kingy has been all over her for a while. If he took the 26's for the diamond he will be laughing!

Newitt and Price were very bullish after the race. I think they've found their next very good horse.
