He will win Group races in the Autumn. You watch.

I think that is a bit harsh Enabled, I have seen some horses win a 2yo in October and get a thread. I have been going to comment, but thought better of it.

At least this guy has shown some form against quality opposition.

The horse is at his best at 1400 to 1600m and he does need everything to go right, but I would not say he is a nobody.

Remember, it might take intelligence to be smart , but it takes experience to be wise

Your wallet will look much better if you follow these 'nothing' horses Sunline posts of instead of bagging Sunline, we should be encouraging this sort of contribution not bagging it.

The only thing that stopped me from backing him today was because l thought maybe he just an affinity with the Valley. His two eye catching runs were there and he's just been average at other tracks. I backed him when he won his maiden at Bendigo, and despite collecting, l wasn't overly impressed.

Good to see him run so well today at a different track.

I see he's got a nomination for the WA Guineas in two weeks. He would have been a good chance in the Sandown Guineas but that's next weekend isn't it? Probably not a good idea to back up. WA might be the go.

Weir post race said he will likely back up next week.
Type of horse that would suit the back up.
Then will be spelled and set for the Australian Guineas.

& same distance & winner drawn much wider this time.....then gets jagged back & sits three & four wide the whole way & wins pulling away. Meanwhile that Yulong things goes straight to the lead - no pressure - & gives in like a pricked balloon halfway down the straight. I’m sure someone will enlighten me though

They ran fast. Just a couple of lengths slower than the open age event next start. Was never three and four wide (you're making things up here).

He ran home strongly against the pattern last start. Won narrowly here. I didn't back it, but I'm not shocked

I think any horse worthy of discussion should be here on these forums for others to add their own comments.

Some threads are opened before they win for the benefit of others - and I've been around here long enough not to bag some of the contributors who have been around the block.

If you look at the Winx thread then the first few post were very interesting observations.

This horse also has fairly good potential.  Maybe not at the price Santa Ana Lane offers every time he starts but should be interesting in the next year.

Was my best of the day. Admittedly I have had him blackbooked since his first barrier trial and backed him at a great price when he won on debut, so the horse is on my radar. But he wasn't hard to find today.

He won well first go for Weir over 1400m, then two starts later he had the blinkers on and was unsuitably back to 1200m and back last at an MV track playing to leaders and he proceeds to round them up and storm into 3rd - collaring Bleu Roche no less who then won on Oaks Day.

Today he went back up to 1400m, over to the open spaces of Flemington, blinkers stayed on, and the speed map showed plenty of pressure to ensure he got his chance to reel in the leaders.

2 starts back Yulong whatever beat him by 6 lengths over the 1400m (same distance as yesterday)

All I'm saying is that it was jagged back wide - pretty sure wide most of race with tailenders. Try going back 2 starts Judge. On that run could not beat the other fav home. 6 lengths over the same distance is a fair bit of improvement don't you think ?

I’ve backed him in 4 of his last 7.
Dead stiff first up
Pathetic 2nd up
Ditto at Caulfield
Beaten by the bias at the valley

Not once when he’s won

It was a forget run though. Clearly under-performed and well documented attitude issues while he's carrying the full set. It was the only risk yesterday - he doesn't 'turn up'.

Always a risk backing colts.
Just depends what he is focused on - winning races or chasing the fillies.

Thought he wasn’t going to get there then wins almost a length. Nice colt.

Good run Long Leaf off a strange prep. Think he’s a nice horse but the stable look like they’re throwing darts a bit ATM.
