This 4yo really grabbed me last start - looks Group class.

Should win again today in a race that looks really suitable. I backed Craftiness last start because of this form and he won exceptionally well. This bloke is superior to Craftiness.

The form around Craftiness is holding up very well. Sunline has a decent record with these things. Wink

Waller will place him in the right events.

I think Saturday proved he isn't group class. Had an easy enough time in front. Had he been eyeballed it would've been game over

How does winning 3 on end, going up in grade each time, prove anything other than the horse is talented and his potential is unknown?Confused

He is yet to beat anything, granted, but that hardly "proves" his ultimate class ...

The fact that he is a Tulloch Lodge Escapee winning races is priceless! ... it does show that they need to be salvaged as early as possible though! LOL
In reference to every post in the Trump thread ... "There may have been a tiny bit of license taken there" ... Ok, Thanks for the "heads up" PT!

i'm not saying he's a champ ..but not sure leading is his go, in better class.
always good to have that versatility.
also looks like he'll get further as he can relax..

looked in trouble for a stride or 2, then pulling away on the line.

I don't think anyone can say he hasn't beaten anything given he beat Craftiness and we saw what he did last start.

He won't be a leader as he reaches better grade and will relax beautifully off a speed. He'll reach a limit soon enough, they all do. Hard to say what that limit is just yet given he is unbeaten and a Saturday winner.

If Waller can turn him into a group winner then he's a genius. If you backed the short fav then you would've been half way through tearing up your ticket. He did give another kick near the line but he didn't really beat much did he.

From now on its only going to get harder and I don't think that run was particularly screaming out as a group performer. I can see one of Gai's donkeys being sent upfront to eyeball him and its game over.

It's the middle of summer in Sydney - these are about as weak as Saturday class sprints get.

It's a big rise from here to group racing, but all they can do is win!

Trialed ok with Malachi. Is up against it today though. Heavy going is a mystery and he is up against some decent wet trackers.

Anyone else have Religify as a lay this weekend? Does his best work when he is just allowed to roll along unchallenged in the lead but I see Classic Uniform, Dark Eyes and possibly Red Excitement putting on some pressure up front which makes me think he will be going backwards a couple of hundred metres out.

I have him on top again, this horse is the most improved older horse in Australia. This prep since Nov he is smashing his previous ratings best by 3-4L and is running a lot higher figures for me than when 0.2L off Snippets Land last Qld winter in a G3.

I agree he is very much improved and could easily be competitive at Listed or G3 level. Stepping up 300m with 59kg and he won't get the lead all his own way like his last two starts though make him a risk for me.

If he gets eyeballed by Classic Uniform over 1900m he'll fold like a cheap suit.

Religify is a good horse when allowed to control up front without being pressured.

He still might get away with stealing this race though.

He's been ridden optimally with favourable race shapes.

We will see, I think you may find they will take a sit in this if they attack him for the front. He still has a bit on this field imo.

He's won one race in his life when he hasn't led. Even if they take him on I'd suggest he's better of just being in the lead.

If they allow Classic Uniform to hold the front it's bad news but they probably have enough early pace to cross if they show intent. I can envision a few scenarios were Religify gets favourable conditions but none of them entail taking a sit. If the go hard enough early Classic Uniform may be forced to take a sit behind the leader, Dark Eyes position one out one back, Religify controls and Red Excitement sits OSL for protection. This would be perfect.

Like I said I think they will lead if they can but also believe if they attack him at his first go at a trip and the weight they wont fight for it. Connections believe he can win with a sit.

I think he has 2-3L on this field on ability, that doesn't mean he will win but he is on top for me. I have it marked as a 40% of normal stake race for me anyway being 1900m at Rosehill but that is just parameters I place on myself.

Tell them they need go show intent and go out as hard as possible, if they don't like that they should scratch and find another race they can control easier.

People in racing are stupid, connections think he can win with a sit... fark me.
