" Sorry, when you asked 'ARE THERE ANY NEW SUPER TAXES' ... and I said NO, I thought you said 'ARE THERE ANY NEW SUPER TAXES' ... Stern Smile

How's Bill's job interview coming along?Ouch ... someone shut him up!!!LOL

Which policy do you think we need to know about costings on?

18 million people with more than half a brain oppose a policy that brings down the value of their home, and/or puts their rents up!Wink

Particularly when you realise that the data that was the whole premise of the policy is WRONG, and can not vindicate introducing the policy, nor will it actually raise any tax! The whole thing is a right royal "Labor Party fcuk up" ... I would normally call it a FRAUD, but seriously, when you watch and listen to the person who exposed it, you will realise that between Bill and Ben. they are not smart enough to trick anyone!Embarrassed

So you have never understood any of this stuff, have you ... it's OK, like I've told you repeatedly, neither has Bowen, or Shorten, or their think tanks ... well now is your chance to learn something! Big smile

It's all explained in simple easy to follow terms.

Oh, and the guy who has exposed Bowen and the Grattan Institute as being dumbasses admits that he has a "vested interest" in them getting this right ... just as the whole country should.Wink

Focus Dummy!

You now state it won’t raise any tax, tell us why no tax increase will affect the market.

Think about it,stop foaming at the mouth.
Concentrate on that.

By the way, still waiting for you to post the research from ABS & PBO, or are you full of poo?

If it reduces prices and it becomes easier for first home owners to get into the market than surely rents also drop as an increase in the number of owner occupiers would see a decrease in rental demands, don't you think Doc?

It's almost like you are letting your personal situation cloud your judgement on this policy...

You really should have a look at the youtube and the podcast that I have provided - you won't need to ask another question, and you will be thanking me.

My personal interest is clear Afros - to help everyone! - nobody is better off if the country is suffereing from the effects of Labor's Recession, and the destruction of EVERYONE's Personal Wealth. We know that the youth of today will be paying for that for decades.

Rents go up because there is a fall in new developments, and Landlords are suffering from reduced capital growth rates - they are bastards like that, they invest to make money!... which makes it harder for those first home buyers who are renting and struggling to save a deposit ... all of those things combine to further depress the market and reduce capital growth rates, this is exacerbated by a divisive "tiered" market - investors will not buy "old" stock - no incentives, and owner occupiers will not be able to compete for new stock.

You understand that the "poor Sydney first home buyers" is another "Labor Lie"? - they have never had it easier in the past 9 years than they have it today ... and it's even better in other locations! Don't get me wrong, it's not easy to save a deposit and get into the market ... regardless of what the entitled millennial thinks, it never has been easy!

It always amuses me that so many "victims" are so concerned about the approximately 100,000 first home buyers who come into the market each year, but don't give a gelati about the other 18 million people who can just cop it in the neck to help them out ... Labor really did a number on a lot of dummies with this policy ... a shame that it has imploded ... it will be the GST Cake!

Hahahaha! ... just saw Bowen on TV defending Bill for his Super Tax lies yesterday ... "he's only human ... we're all only human!" ... he has a much higher opinion of himself and his feckless Leader than most people do!LOL

So, that’s a “no,I can’t explain why the property market will be decimated by changes that won’t increase taxes at all”

And a no to providing research from ABS or PBO despite you consistently referring to “it” in support of your fantasy arguments.......

Surprised anyone?

hey rusty, you're just being irrational and obtuse now - all of the explanations anyone could possibly need is in that excellent podcast - it's not like you're stupid. It will be the end of Bowen's career, you get that don't you?Smile

He used data that he claimed showed that Investors only bought 4% ... no 7% ... wait 14% ... oh s.hit! ... 20%??? of new properties ... and then argued about it, lied and blamed everyone else ... and it is STILL wrong.Dead

Just explain how any of their projected outcomes, including revenue predictions, could possibly be anything other than a guess ... and a bad one!Embarrassed

Look, just say you don't like Tony and so, you will just remain unhinged and irrational whenever Labor Policies are exposed as UNCOSTED LIES.

You won't confuse the dummies that way!Thumbs Up

Oh Doc, that’s just silly.

I’ve never addressed what % of new dwellings investors purchase.

I’m challenging your statement that unequivocally stated that the policy would not raise any additional tax,but would decimate the market.

Are you obfuscating because you realise it was a stoopid point to make.

Or do you honestly not understand this simple question?

Too stupid to work out how a podcast works?

Never mind ... just keep challenging what you don't get.Wacko

Here, let me try again - don't keep beating yourself up if you still don't get it, I'll try to dumb it down for as much as i can for you.

Everyone else knows that Bowen was screwed by the numbers, ok!

The revenue will be gone, as their assumptions were that most investors buy used property - as much as 94% the dick wad has been claiming ... Oooops!LOL

The fact is that their assumptions are STILL low for new investor purchases at 20% - anecdotally, most experts who live and work outside the Labor party "Think Wank", assume the figure to be at least double that, and accordingly, many more investors will be getting Neg gearing benefits than they assumed ... costing their budget BILLIONS ... Ooooops!LOL

The market reaction is as Labor predicts, a drop in values, and that is of course, a completely separate function of the policy, you poor simpleton! ... you are just acting dumb, aren't you??? You do get the difference between taxation implications and asset value destruction??? ... that they are in no way linked?? ...  no, you don't! DOH!!!Embarrassed

Go back to the drawing board and learn something, that podcast would be a good start!

Then you can try to rejoin the conversation later and catch up as best you can.

Now, no more stupid questions!Cool

Why do you always conflate issues?

Read this very slowly......

You claim that ALP policies will decimate the market.
Yep?

But then you claim the very policies that will cause this destruction won’t actually apply to the majority of investors?
Yep?

So if it’s business as usual for investors, why will there be any impact at all on the market?

It’s just stoopid to suggest both scenarios aren’t mutually exclusive

What the fcuk did Tony do to you out the back of the Life Saving Club!!!???

... but once again, don't be discouraged. nobody in the Labor Party, or the Grattan Institute has got it right yet, and they've been working on it for 5 years!!! ... they are dumbasses too. That's why they had to take down all of the bullgelati literature about it from their website.

Ok Dummy,

Tell us which bits are wrong and why.

As an aside, why the diatribe about the mad monk, and ALP calcs ,when we were discussing your POV about the ramifications of the policy?
